Went to the bookstore looking for the new XXL w/ Pac on the cover (all sold out
), and saw URB Magazine with something on the cover saying "Tupac speaks ten years after his death"... I didn't read the entire article, but it's basically a fictional story on Pac not dying from the Vegas shooting and what he's been doing these past 10 years.
What I remember from the article:
Ironically in the story Pac survives, and most other rappers are killed one way or another (Nas, E-40, Ice Cube, etc, etc)...
Pac records a unity song with BIG
Pac matures quite a bit and begins a succesful career in politics
If I wasn't in a rush I would have read the entire article, seemed like a good read. The writer appeared to at least have some understanding of Pac rather than just showing him as a thug. Maybe I'll buy a copy and scan the article (after I find the XXL issue...)
