Tupac's pre-Death Row work ethic

#1
As we all know, Tupac worked at a feverish pace when he was on Death Row, especially in terms of music. Did he crank out like 3 songs a day before Death Row?

It doesn't seem likely, considering the relatively small amount of pre-DR unreleased songs. I know in Thug Angel, they briefly say Tupac had that work ethic, but to be honest I don't trust that and just took it as them not differentiating Tupac's work ethic between 'eras'.

I'd think that his work ethic probably increased alot after getting shot / going to jail, I guess thats the effect it had on him. And like you said, it's refelcted in the amount of DR-era material thats available.

serously do yall believe he got out 3 tracks a day at deathrow??

3*350days = over 1000 deathrow songs
He was with Death Row for around 9 months, not anywhere close to a year, first of all. And of course there were days when he didn't record anything - he was a busy man. It's just that on average, when he went to the studio, he recorded 3 songs each session.

Released in October 1995, Died in September 1996. You can't count or you're just stupid. 11 months. That's pretty damn close to a year. Plus, on the first day he got out of prison, he completed 7 songs for All Eyez On Me.

Haha oops. My bad. I wasn't thinking or counting and just went off what that Atron Gregory or smething said in Thug Angel "..People act like he was with Death Row his whole life, but he was only with Death Row for 9 months."

That quote always stuck with me. I guess it was 11 months then.

they were 150 tracks in the vault. This is now coming to the end.

Well if there was only 150 tracks in the vault. And we've had albums that have nearly used them up, or as you said "coming to the end", how come I have over 100 mp3's that haven't been released yet. And I've seen confirmed lists with over a 100 more.???

There are quite a few pre-Death Row unheard/unreleased songs as well.
If I'm not mistaking, Stephen has done some thorough investigation in that timeframe and came to the conclusion that there's a whole lot out there.

it's said pac would crank out 2-4 tracks a day, but with that said it's not a given he went to the studio EVERY day. there were video shoots, there were trips here and there, and very likely there was a day off now and then.

So that means you don't trust the fact that 2Pac completed Thug Life & Me Against The World around the same time frame. And what about some of 2Pac's other pre-deathrow releases such as R U Still Down and Loyal 2 Da Game.

And how could anyone believe that Pac only left 100-150 songs on deathrow. He left more at least more than 400 songs and the math to his deathrow material that has and hasn't been released has been worked out and discussed in this forum.

Your list probably includes og'z that have already being remixed and put out.
There was 150 songs left in the vault when Pac died and this has being confirmed by numeours sources from the estate and producers.
A lot of people also include Pacs collabarations that are on other albums.

I bet nobody on here can give me a list of 70 unreleased tracks that people say they have.
