so far i don`t fully agree with it, but some points are good :thumb:

time will show how ppl will think about common and ohter dudes in the future, when they retire

and i don`t think Pac would release a worse album than his last 3 were, those dudes like ice cube or common (as far as i know) work on their material alot but long, they don`t do 3 songs a day like Pac, that`s why they putting albums which are worse than they did before, u know what i mean, IMO Pac was still progressin, and by the time he would feel his album wouldn`t be so good, he just wouldn`t put it out, like he said in KMEL interview he wanted to get out the rap scene and just release album every few years and be still on top (like Paul McCaurtney did).

I didn't get into rap until 1998-1999. I didn't really know much about the culture or any of the history. The first time I really heard Pac, and I mean really heard him, was on "Changes." I loved the song. It was literally awe-inspiring to me. I never heard anything like it. I went out and bought some of his albums and fell in love with him. All of this was before I read one thing about his life. The fact that he had gone down in a blaze of fire had no bearing on my feeling towards his music. Though I may get less respect for not following through his career (though I was a 5-11 year old white boy in a house that listened to classic rock), I can honestly say that his image and his controversy wasn't what moved me - it was his words. Pac became the greatest rapper in my mind before the "Rape charges, Death Row Records, Beef, Being Shot, Thug Life, Death."
:thumb: Same with me

I didnt hear pac until I bought Nas' God's Son and heard Thugz Mansion. Then its the same story with yours.

As for the article, I don't think pac is the greatest MC ever, but I think he is the greatest rap/hip hop icon ever, like it says at the top of the article.
