Tupac & Politics I dont think so

#1
Do you think that Tupac would have been a politician or in politics i dont think he would have. I mean he found out about the illuminate while he was in jail and just thought he would attack them for what they represent he has always been dissing politicians but he did it even more when he came out of prison i think a lot of people in there must have influenced him.

In the 1996 grame awards Tupac says that he wants to stop raping because its getting too political this sounds like he was not going to make this Killuminate political party that most people say he would have done.

What are your opinions on this?

Don't think Tupac could have find the patient that comes with politics. By the way i think he had no chance 2 become president with his record. I don't know how that is about a member of the congress.

I think 2Pac said a lot of contradicitng things, making it hard to decipher what he really meant. When it comes down to it, I personally don't think he would've gotten too deep into politics. Maybe influencing who people vote for, ie. those he thought would help the community the most, but as for him running for election, I don't think so.

he may have learned about the illuminati while in jail but that would have made him want to get involved even more. I think that was even some of the reason he wanted to. In I think his final interview or something he was talking about being in politics and stuff.

Tupac didn't believe in iluminati, he belived it was a myth. Killuminati was about killing that myth. But it wasn't a political party, nor did it represent Tupac's political thoughts.
He had a large interest in politics which he picked up of his mother, he always followed politics and had asperations of being involved in a political party. Whether the US government would have allowed him to follow these is another problem.

I know in one of his interviews he said I think it was 5 Years from now we'll have our own Political Party watch ... Anyone got the audio or typed version of this? Anyway I think Pac was involved in politics most of his career, doing speaches and things throughout. I dont think he could have ran for anything that the government has control over but I think we all can tell Pac wasnt interested in what the government told him he can or cannot do.
You can be political and not be in the White House - Thats just the extreme.

He had very strong politic views.

Money B said that if Pac didn't sign record deal in 91 he'd move (don't remember where) and go straight in politics.

Everybody in the rap game knows Pac was very political, i remember reading somewhere an interview with some1 who knew Pac that he would talk & debate about politics for hours. So i think yea Pac would of gone into politics obviuosly he couldn't run 4 president or a senitor or anything thing like that because he has a criminal record but he would be a member of a party definitly.

I don't think Pac would get far in politics. The way the American media portrayed him was as a crazy, foul-mouthed, dangerous criminal and thug (in the defined sense).

i don't think he would have gotten that far either. people would have said that he would be bad in office cause he is too much of a thug or somethin but i know that his fans would have had his back. i think he would have talked more about politics in his lyrics like in Letter 2 The President

and you people claim to be pac fans. 2pac was raised in politics.

half his family is in jail because of their POLITICAL views. he was raised by black panthers. A black political group.

he had many views on what was wrong with the country.

please, is All Eyez on me the only album you've listened to?

pick up 2pacalypse now, strictly 4 my NIGGAZ and even don killuminati then come back and repost.

to end, yes, he would have made his way to politics. he was the Martin Luther/Malcolm X of our generation, he just happened to be a rapper aswell.
