Bizzy says "Pac and Rip with thug luv." I think I've read somewhere before that Rip is a reference to himself, not rest in peace.

I like the song, but the problem is that Pac's verse is so strong that it makes the last half of the track anticlimactic. The other Bones can't come close to the intensity of Pac's verse.

I love the song. I know his verse by heart.

I know that doesn't mean much to some of you pac fanatics...but I don't have every pac verse memorized.

All of the Bone Thugs have aliases... Bizzy's is "Rest in Peace," sometimes called "R.I.P." or "R.I.P.sta." (As a side note, Krayzie is Leatherface, Layzie is #1 Assassin, Wish is Strate Jacket.)

But yes, I love the song. I remember in 1996, I was a HUGE fan of both Pac and Bone Thugs, and I was always hoping that they would do a song together. And sure enough, toward the end of 1996 when The Art of War was being developed, news leaked that Thug Luv was a collabo between them and was to be on The Art of War.

I remember in late 1996 hearing a leaked version (what we now call Thug Luv 2) with the darker beat and two Bizzy verses.

It's floating around the net. It's on my other laptop, I'll upload it later if I have time. Here's a quick breakdown.

Thug Luv I/Thug Luv OG - OG beat, two Bizzy Bone verses, one Pac verse, one Sylk E. Fine verse
Thug Luv II - OG beat, two Bizzy Bone verses, one Pac verse, one Layzie Bone verse... this was the first version to leak in late 1996/early 1997 before The Art of War was released, but for some reason back in 1996 the song was tagged as having Mo Thugs Records artists II Tru on it (obviously false)
Thug Luv III/Thug Luv retail - version on The Art of War (but the original leaked retail version had some slight variances to Wish Bone's verse)
