I was on my way to work in my Dads car, had my license for about 3 months, driving along, its raining pretty hard, came to a round-about and went into it too fast and the back end slid out, tried to correct it and made it worse. Went up on the curb and headfirst straight into a telegraph pole!
People drove past and didnt stop just looked and kept going while i was wrapped around this pole, funny thing is i knew i had to take drastic measures too get people to stop and help so I pretended to be dead, lying over the steering wheel and looking a mess..LOL. Eventually someone stopped and helped, i didnt have a scratch on me by the way, and I rang my dad and then a tow truck.
This happened right near Tempe Tyres for people in Sydney who know...that telegraph pole was leaning on a 60 degree angle for years afterwards held up by a rope or something lol.
That was embarassing man. LOL cant believe I played dead...ahaha
Anyway the car was insured and we got $3000 for it, we payed the $1200 excess fee and pocketed the other $1800 which was good because the car was a bomb we couldnt sell for $500 bucks... an old XF Falcon.
