I see some worse than that. Facebook really does showcase the world wide IQ level. Pages like "Raoul Moat - Legend"... Show the brains and maturity that my tax dollars pay for. Because they obviously are on benefits of some sort with intellect and attitudes like that.

I've said something similar before and was called all types of awful names. All i'm saying is.. I had to go through so much work to adopt my dog. I had several home inspections, interviews with family and friends, I took a class and test, had follow up reviews AND a support system from the shelter stating I could call and ask for help at any time.. this is for a DOG that I adopted.

Yet, any idiot, at any given time can raise a child?

Here's what I think. (and I know this would never happen.. it's just random thoughts)

Men have mandatory vasectomies and/or women have their tubes tied. So, you want to have a kid? You can sign up for a program that includes several classes and an exam, a review of your financials, a psychological evaluation, etc. If you pass.. your reproductive organs are "restored" and you can have as many kids as you were deemed to be able to afford and that you are perceived to be able to manage with a likely high rate of success. If you fail.. wait a year and try again. After the children are had.. you aren't fixed again. You've proved yourself and are free to breed as you please. However, if you have over the recommended amount of children and become unable to afford them.. there is no government aid for the extra children, only the recommended amount of children.

If you have children without the initial consent of this governing board.. the child is immediately taken away and you are jailed.


No abortions, no kids who are "wards of the state", no more of my taxes paying for your kids, no more neglected kids, etc.

Will some kids inevitably fall through the cracks? Yeah. Nothing is perfect. But at least the numbers will drop.

Again.. just random thoughts.. feel free to point out the flaws in this plan. LOL
