well, if you're using all those gainers with thousands of calories, then of course you'll gain fat. but why hury? take it easy, in a natural way, let your body do the work.
i think: smaller with good definition > bigger, but bloated
Bloating usually comes from water retention caused by the creatine...

This is weird to me how popular weight gain product or protein powders are. I've never in my life taken one or even considered it. Not trying to say they're bad cus I really don't know much about them, this is just odd cus i didn't know how popular they really were

^^a person would take them to help them to get the required protein intake they need to build muscle on a daily basis. but if a person gets most of their protein from these products then it isnt good.

and Stred. was that 3kg of muscle or did you gain some fat as well?

Muscle dude, I couldn't put on fat if I ate Maccers every meal for a week. My metabolism is too fast.

I'll post some before and after shots when I chuck on a few more kgs

sorry, but it's impossible to add 3 kg of muscle in 2 months, not even close. we're talking about lean muscle, right? then, the most you can gain, is no more than 1kg in 2 months - and that's under best circumstances. the rest is water weight, fat, glycogen weight.

I am pretty happy to gain fat... You can still have a cut... And you can still be "firm"...

I am more into being healthy these days than being muscular....

On the down side I still haven't started my programme... But i am managing to eat healthier foods.

I was looking for a new heavy bag and was thinking of getting the Century Bob.... Anyone got one... I used to have one down the gym when I was boxing.... But never got to hit it, always seemed to be on the other side of the gym hitting the bag.... Or in the ring. There was always 20 other (bigger) guys on that side,,,, and I was intimidated... ;)

I see. I have 3 of those protein shakes a day with water so that may have something to do with it.. I certainly haven't noticed any fat gain

^^ Dont sweat it Stred (pun coming....), muscles store water anyway, especially if you use creatine, so yeah, you can pack on 3kg of "muscle" even if it isnt "lean" muscle, it still looks like it.

The only downside of training on wednesday evening is that I'm gonna be missing half the CL matches, dammit. Didn't think of that before.

stone...

I still can't get over how stupid and barbaric that unit of measurement sounds. We're not sacks of fucking potatoes you primitive Irish cunt. :D

is to possible to bulk up all over in a healthy way? im desperate to bulk up but find it difficult to consume more calories than i burn

i walk my dog for about 45 minutes a day (brisk walking) but i'd like to gain a healthy 2 stone. im not necessarily bothered about muscles, i need the body fat but need it all over, i dont want it all lying on my stomach. cos that would look stupid :D

^^well you cant select where the fat goes lol. most of it will will go on your stomach though.

to gain muscle you need to have a calorie surplus. if you find it hard to get the calories you need on a daily basis you could get some whey protein or mass gainer.
