Take a Norwegian fish journey with me!

I stumbled across this really cool blog that I wanted to share with those of you who might be interested. A norwegian dude built a huge fish tank from scratch and set it up as a temperate aquarium, then populated it with things he picked up on the norwegian coastline. Yes, this is how the nordic waters look! You will probably be surprised as there is some unique and beautiful aquatic wildlife up here. In comparison to tropical species, species living in the nordic waters intrigue me by having wilder, more predatory and "camouflaged" looks. He brought everything from algae and kelp, to worms, clams, mussels, fish, snails, starfish, hermit crabs, crabs, crayfish, as well as various other crustaceans. The whole thing is beautiful. He set up the lighting and temperatures to roughly follow the natural habitat of every species living in the aquarium, meaning the plant life died down and blossomed at various times of the year, making the appearance of the aquarium throughout the blog very dynamic. He inclided a lot of pictures of the aquarium from a distance, as well as close-up shots of individual specimens contained within it. He also put up a lot of technical data and pictures of the equipment running behind the cabinet for people who are deeply interested. I'm not, but the pictures are great. As an added bonus, his writing is good, and he is some times even witty!
