Stretch v. Majesty

#1
In case you don't know they were brothers, did songs with 2pac, were members of the live squad, and have extremely similar raps and voices.
I think I know the outcome, but I want to see how you rate these two in comparison to each other. Firstly, I'm just going to list the songs they were both featured in with 'Pac and say who came out on top:

Strugglin' - Majesty - just think he starts his verse with venom, and just has slightly better rhymes than stretch in this.

5 deadly venomz - Majesty - again he brings some nice variation in his rhyme

Enemies with me - tie - they're sort of exchanging every few lines and i feel they both came very tight on this

Holler if ya hear me - Stretch - you may think this is a wierd choice since majesty has such a long verse and stretch only has a short one. But stretch takes this because he had better lyrical content which fitted with the theme of the song while maj's verse was quite boring

Danger Time - Majesty - no need to explain this. amazing lyrics, crazy flow switching, and he outshines both stretch AND pac.

(if i have missed a track tell me, i am doing this off the top of my head and have a terrible memory)

So my vote goes to Majesty being better than Stretch. ALthough Stretch did many many more tracks with 'Pac including some straight classics like under pressure, crooked ass nigga, and of course pain. I still feel Maj was the better rapper out of the two. To be honest I think Stretch is slightly overratted!

What do you guys think, who was better between these two? and why?

My vote: Majesty

(damn i forgot to add the poll:(. anyway, just reply to say your choice)

oh, and even though you camouflaged it well, technically this has nothing to do with tupac ;x
shut up you!

(dont mvoe this mods, since it will only get replies here. These rappers are not known to the rap world besides their collabos with pac. So it most definately belongs in life)

since when was strecth and majesty on holler if ya hear me? lol

The OG you dumb ass!!

Majesty is after Pac, the after the hail of Bullets, Stretch goes off for a short while

Majesty is usually better, but it's off and on, and Stretch appears more often, so I'll go with Stretch

on the Live squad cd, Majesty seemed to be better than Stretch overall but on a few tracks Stretch completely rips it up

Don't know how but somehow I missed this thread and saw it in the similar threads bit at the bottom of a page.

You missed Big Time which I think Stretch rips apart, that's one of his best verses in my opinion and like always Stretch starts raw and has his quintessential verse (I always like saying that!).

On the whole I'm a huge Stretch fan and I think he beats Maj most of the time, however Maj out-raps his brother on a couple of Live Sqaud only tracks though.

It would be interesting to see what Maj is up to now and I know a couple of people on here are sort-of in touch with him.

Nice topic by the way!

Peace.

I'd say Majesty when I listen to Bigtime, cuz has a positive flow, Stretch verse on there doesnt really get absorbed by the beat they remixed him on.
I'd say Strech everytime I listen to So Many Tears OG lyrics, no matter the beat he's on, just rips it off.

Good thread!!
On Holler If You Hear Me Maj totally rips it up. On Danger Time I agree with you: Maj was on his prime on that one and if you ask me that's a classic just because of him.On Big Time I can't tell who's Stretch and who's Majesty, so help me out. But on the other tracks I would say that Stretch is the better one. We can't forget that Tupac made many of his songs with Stretch and I think that it was for a reason.
By the way can somebody tell me where I can get some Live Squad tracks? Or maybe post'em....
