This subject is widely varied I'm sure one can agree, and would need a Yellow pages book if we were to cover it all (maybe). Manners come into everybodys lives in different ways at different times and how we act can sometimes have a profound effect on our relationships with other people.
Sure all cultures have different views on this subject, and the HSBC copmmercial springs to mind (the guy in the bar with the OK hand gesture to the bartender has just unintentionally nominated himself to be on someones shit list).
I got to thinking about this today when I compared thoughts on peoples behaviour in the street:
I'm sure it's seen less nowadays and is probably considered old fashioned but what happened to people lifting off their hats when they passed each other in the street? So they might not wear hat's but they keep them on if they do.
Youths nowadays focus their entire vocabulary with sentences around obscenities. "Fuck this/ muthafucka that" and the old people arent innocent either. In my opinion it's because of them our manners to each other are sliding downhill.
I don't know what other people think or do themselves but I am one who will use please and thankyou, or the more commonly heard 'Cheers' about's my community.
