sucks to be you

Keep at in man! Before you know it you will be 25 and second in charge of a box distribution store, boxheads get all the chicks.

Seriously though, why don't you get your shit together and find a job that you actually like?

Just to say: it's better to have a job than not. You gotta keep on sluggin'.

Funny story: don't drink and stock. At my store some of the stock guys working on the line, distributing beer, got a little hot-headed and decided to knock back a few in the middle of the day. I think our new manager had ordered too much that week so there was a surplus. Anyway, they got caught on the cameras a couple of days later and were fired. Which is funny, as drinking on the job is kind of common at my workplace. You know, Russians and their vodka.

^One of my first jobs was at a sporting goods store. A girl got fired for flashing her breasts to shipping and receiving ppl. She was also pregnant by one of the managers so it's extra wtf. Her baby daddy was not one of the ppl she flashed.

Anyway...I've never went into a job knowing I was going to hate it. I was usually optimistic the first few months. I hope you're not going to do shit work just bc you don't want to be there.

Oh yeah I have a whole bunch of stories like that relating to strange/crazy happenings at work over time. You know people have to make their own entertainment to get through the day.

And don't listen to bullshit like good things come to those who wait etc. You make your own way, don't look to anyone for a handout.

If your job really sucks, get baked before you go each day. It doesn't make your job good but it makes it bearable.

I've said this before: take up baking. If you have always loved baking great tasting cakes and breads, you may want to take advantage of your hobby and talent to start your own home baking business. Many people have found success and economic independence by starting a baking business at home. Rather than let those old family baking recipes gather dust on the shelf, bring them down and launch a baking business with their help. It can be very profitable especially if you have a number of friends and relatives who always order cakes and pastries during parties and special events.

Let me know and i can tell you where to get containers for muffins and cakes at a good price.

true. what i meant was he was waiting for a job and he finally got one. of course he has to make things work, so like everyone has suggested, i think it would be a good idea to look for a more preferable position while he works here. i wasnt implying that he should stay in this position for the forseeable future and something will eventually come his way... because things dont come to you unless you go in search of them. so there... (lol).

Keep the job until you find a better one. Money coming is better than no money.
THIS. I was going to do this but instead, I transfered to another position within the same place and get more money and I enjoy doing what I do now.

TY!

I hate when people don't like their jobs and take NOTHING seriously. People like that make work harder for the other people, and then causing them not to like it.
