I used to feel the same way that FlipMo does, and still kinda do. Do they deserve that kind of money? No, not really. But when you look at how much money the team owners make off of their performance, the athletes only want their fair share. Same goes with actors.

Good cops deserve 20MIL a year. Firemen deserve 20MIL a year. Doctors, Surgeons, ambulance drivers deserve 20MIL a year and much more.

A fucking person who throws balls in a hoop, or any other sports should receive less than 60 000$ a year. They don't put their lives on the edge, nor do they save people's lives from gunshot wounds, tumors and don't dedicate their lives to studies till they hit 40 (doctors, psychologists and more) to become something that at times just hits the 100 000$ mark. Fucking nurses should be making more than sport players.

Same goes for actors. Overpaid.

Don't tell me they deserve it either, cause your just lying to yourself.

Of course they don't deserve it, but guess what they get it. If you had the opportunity you would be doing the same thing just like if I had the chance.

Seriously though, who cares how much someone makes, but i do care what someone does with their riches, and Shaq does plenty more than everyone on this board guaranteed. But that is him, he chooses and i applaude him, no big deal. It's not like he is taking away from a cop, a fireman, or a nurse. It's not like the government says we will give 1 Billion dollars out in salary this year and Shaq gets 20 Million, anyone can make that type of money. And since cops, firemen, and nurses know what they will make in their respective career, it is obvious it is not for the money.

I'd do something good with the majority of the money as well, but we expect everyone to do that? Shaq does do charity work though, as do people like Bill Gates.
