Shakur Family: NO ONE Had Permission to Smoke Tupac!

Tupac Shakur's mother would "never participate in smoking her son" ... a family spokesperson tells TMZ.

As TMZ previously reported, members of the The Outlawz -- Tupac's former rap group -- released a video in which they claim they rolled up Pac's ashes with weed and smoked him up at a family memorial event. The rappers claim Pac's mother was present at the time.

But the family spokesperson tells us ... no one in the Shakur family EVER signed off on the Pac puff 'n pass ... especially his mother, Afeni.

The family rep tells us ... the Shakurs simply don't know if there's any truth to the claims made by the Outlawz -- but if they DID smoke Tupac, they "would have had to sneak the remains past the family member in charge of keeping an eye on the ashes at the memorial."

The rep tells us ... no one in the family would ever approve of the act -- but they currently don't plan on pursuing any action against The Outlawz.

LOL

Is this news? TMZ are claiming it as an exclusive? Is Paris Hilton ill? Lindsay Lohan sober?

Did anyone here actually believe they smoked Tupac's ashes? If anyone did, shame on you.

Fatal and Napoleon were the only ones who were okay past the 2pac era. Napo was pretty average and boring but Fatal, I think that he's the only underrated member of the Outlawz. He's had some very good tracks and flow.

No one had permission to smoke Tupac?

That sounds funny, as if the opposite of that is plausible.

"I grant you permission to smoke Tupac. You may now begin smoking Tupac. How's your Tupac toke?"

What exactly do the Outlawz do, day to day? Do they have, like, jobs? Is EDI a greeter at Wal-Mart? If so I am headed for that Wal-Mart right now. Gonna get my picture taken with him.

I also wondered this about a lot of less-successful (these days) rappers.
Okay, even if you're great but you don't sell more than a few thousand copies with every album, and you drop albums once in 3 or 4 years, even if you dropped them via a label consisting only of yourself that's not enough cash. Not to mention rap group albums with 5+ rappers.

Interesting reading these posts about Outlawz. Its only two days ago I was walking home, and as I entered the house I thought to myself, "Geez, the Outlawz suck." Totally random thought in the middle of the day. Then I open this thread and read the comments related to them.

How lucky were they to have been considered by Tupac as his clique?

I like Kadaffi...RIP
