Wow, I just read through this thread, and while I didn't really see your comment, Da Funk, this guy really ended up being a bigger shithead than I thought. I originally thought he was some dude that came to the States years ago but decided not to go to school and live off his parents money. Everyone yelled at me when I blasted him for leeching off his parents in his 20's, but here, you're either in college or grad school (which then it's ok, I guess to live with your parents) or you're working. If you're working a decent job you can still live in a shitty apartment and have food, water and power. But Bichi didn't have a job, he matched neither of the criteria above therefore warranting that thread I made earlier. He really is a low-life. When I diss him, I feel guilty and hypocritical at times because I've done what he's done or is doing....but I'm 19, and who hasn't fucked up a bit? I would like to think I learned from my fuckups, but this kid just keeps going and going with his ignorance. We just see him comment on things like sports, women, and members on this forum. I would like to hear his thoughts on other conflicts in the world.
One last thing before we close the "Bichi" chapter in the great StreetHop novel, it is very hard to put into words a description of what I'm about to say, but did anyone pay attention to Bichi's use of the English language? I'm not talking about how horrible his spelling was and how he often omitted words because alot of non-native speakers do that. But sometimes he used the wrong word to describe what he was talking about. Another theme of his posts was redundancy, how he would emphasize his points with even more horrible English. This always got to me, because he would end up sounding like what I thought would be a gangster in India trying to sound cool speaking English. And while it made me laugh inside sometimes, it really angered me. Anyone else notice that? No one has ever made a comment about it, yet there are prime examples in this thread alone as I was reading through it.
