So guys, I've got a lot of silly questions for some real collectors, or to people like Dante. This thread is for Pacologists, here are the things I can't get, may be you too:

1) Holler If Ya Hear Me with Stretch
Is it really Original of S4MN version? (I doubt it, but want to hear the proof)
2) Bury Me A G
What was Solo Version recorded for?
3) Str8 Ballin'
This was asked a couple of times, but why is the lyrics sounds soo similiar to I'm Gettin Money?
4) Temptations
I heard Dante said his OG Vibe sounds 100% like Original Version, why they had to change the beat??
5) Old School with Richie Rich
Is it really with Rich, cause in acapella there is no free layer for his verse, or was the pella re-mixed? Then Why?
6) How Do You want It
This song was supposed to have Danny Boy in it, but Suge decided to have K-Ci & Jo-Jo instead of him... Then why there is a girl doing hook on the recently leaked Original?
7) All About You
Was the solo version recorded for the album??
8) Makaveli The Don (The Album)
Didn't they want to release it as a double album, if so what songs were listed for the 2d disk...
9) Where Do We Go From Here
Sounds like Outro to What's Next... Is it?
10) I'm Losin It
Why does this track have a slightly different verse of High Till I Die?
11) Nothing But Love
It seems they lost a layer to the version released???
12) Black Starry Nite
Is it really interlude? Sounds like something different...
13) As The World Turns
I heard they released Original on SIR, is it true?
14) Killuminati
Partially the same lyrics as Untouchable.. Did they remix Untouchable, or was Killuminati recorded on purpose??

Was the Original ever finished??

The OG solo version has the same instrumental as the OG with Big Syke??

What I'm thinkin is it's the OG, but they added Thug Life because it's a Thug Life album, not just Pac

I'm Gettin Money was recorded first, and then Pac redid it. Simple as that.

6) How Do You want It
This song was supposed to have Danny Boy in it, but Suge decided to have K-Ci & Jo-Jo instead of him... Then why there is a girl doing hook on the recently leaked Original?

That girl is Natasha from YNV... it's probably just another OG, there doesn't always have to be 1 OG.


9) Where Do We Go From Here
Sounds like Outro to What's Next... Is it?

No, they both sample "Bootsey Collins - May The Force Be With You", but What's Next is Deathrow era and WDWGFH isn't.

10) I'm Losin It

I'm Losin It was recorded for Thug Life, and didn't make the cut, so Pac recycled the verse.

Not "lost", they just took it off.

No, OG has Fatal.

They are both different tracks, Pac recycled verses alot.

No.

Johnny J was pissed at Deathrow so he cut them out, same thing with "This Aint Livin" and other tracks.

Who is doing the hook on Original Version? Danny Boy?

Well he's the one doing the vocals on the live version, if there is even a chorus, then he's the one that does it.

People say NOBODY has it in CDQ is it true?

If that were true, then how would Amaru release a remix on Loyal To The Game?

1. it's a demo cut, not necessairly og

3. gettin money was recorded before str8 ballin to my knowledge. str8 ballin demo version sounds closer to getting money than it does ballin.
4. actually the final version i have not yet released is 100% the original. flawless. basically the mix was enhanced as the rest of matw tracks were, and that included a beat tweak.
5. rich was definitely in it.
6. demo. pac sang the melody intended to be replaced by singer a, b, or c. originally the plan was for danny boy, but suge snagged k-ci and jojo to transform a pretty good song into a single.
7. no. it was recorded for the video release, but the final edit was selected to be lp.
8. not to my knowledge. it was meant to be raw and to the point. shame that toss it up was on there. it subtracts from the whole album for me (along with just like daddy). if either of these two were cut, odds are friends would have been left on. the demo version i have heard of the album has a TON more disses, and the disses are MUCH more violent at that. it also did not have any interludes.
9. happened much before what's next. pac liked the beat obviously. same as whodini samples, stevie, etc that were used a bunch of times.
10 . pac did high till i die after losing it. losing it didn't make the cut so he used some lyrics from it.
11. not uncommon for amaru to use only one vocal layer in their final releases. thugs mansion and ncuba lost a lot of zip this way.

17. uteot was completely chopped up like that. basically my understanding of this from speaking to some key figures is that prior to the release amaru and dr had a very strained relationship... amaru felt like they were getting shorted, so the album was finished and they send approval drafts to dr. all was good, or at least dr thought so because somewhere after them approving an unedited version and the album hitting shelves the edits were placed in there. sneaky. ...even more interesting is the total flub on everythign they owe. offbeat and unlistenable, but the clean version is fine. sloppy sloppy.
18. isley was originally on the hook.

20. that was once thought, but where there's a clean acapella, a clean instrumentalk ain't far. rest assured, the producer doesn't have the song, stretch is dead, amaru is a safe, and we're fucked.

well, one that comes to mind is not an actual verse, but the lawz did screw up the eventual release of When Thugz Cry by using the OG hook on the SIR Tattoo Tears
