Tests like these are so flawed though. Example of why I have difficulty answering this test:

1) I am somewhat disorganized.

What does this mean? When I play a computer game, everything I do is an organized though. I continually consider what I just did, what I'm doing now, and how that will affect what happens later. I'm the same when I'm in a car. I look ahead and plan out so I don't suddenly get taken by surprise by some pedestrian coming out of nowhere (to the extent I'm able to). When I speak to customers at work, depending on their technical awareness and persona, I sub-consciously plan out the conversation and what I'll ask them and how I'll get them to do what they need to do. I'm very fucking organized in a lot of ways, but when the question gets put like this, for some reason I just think they wanna know if my appartments messy or tidy. Which is just one way of being organized. So what do I answer then?

But okay, I'll take it and see.

edit: ENFP - "Journalist". Uncanny sense of the motivations of others. Life is an exciting drama. 8.1% of total population.

What is ISFJ?

What is ISFJ?
I forgot what it was so I googled it and I'm pretty sure it said ISFJ - "The Defender". Description below:

ISFJs are traditional, loyal, quiet and kind. They are very sensitive to other people's needs because they are very observant. They have rich inner thoughts and emotions. They value stability and cultural norms. They are very adept at giving attention to detail. They do not seek positions of authority.

Do you guys feel that these are accurate descriptions for you?

For me, it's pretty much on point minus a few minor things like being traditional and valuing cultural norms. I think my personality as far as genes go and my upbringing is to care for those things, but I've conditioned myself to not give a shit. "They do not seek positions of authority" is spot on.

From some website:

As an ESTJ, your primary mode of living is focused externally, where you deal with things rationally and logically. Your secondary mode is internal, where you take things in via your five senses in a literal, concrete fashion.

ESTJs live in a world of facts and concrete needs. They live in the present, with their eye constantly scanning their personal environment to make sure that everything is running smoothly and systematically. They honor traditions and laws, and have a clear set of standards and beliefs. They expect the same of others, and have no patience or understanding of individuals who do not value these systems. They value competence and efficiency, and like to see quick results for their efforts.

ESTJs are take-charge people. They have such a clear vision of the way that things should be, that they naturally step into leadership roles. They are self-confident and aggressive. They are extremely talented at devising systems and plans for action, and at being able to see what steps need to be taken to complete a specific task. They can sometimes be very demanding and critical, because they have such strongly held beliefs, and are likely to express themselves without reserve if they feel someone isn't meeting their standards. But at least their expressions can be taken at face-value, because the ESTJ is extremely straight-forward and honest
.

That sounds a lot like me, minus the honouring of traditions and laws, and while I do like quick results I have no problem waiting a years to see results for my effort.

I do like helping other people. I don't get a hard-on from it, but I like being helpful. If I'm complex, that depends on the person who judges me. I think I'm quite simple personally. As for drive, depends what way you look at it - I do think I am fairly ambitious though.

I can see a lot of what other people have scored though. Following interests and being impulsive suits me as well (which is Keco's) - but it depends on what.

The test is relative. You might think you're organized because your sock drawer is all perfect with colours matching in specific drawers, but when it comes you projects you might be out of whack. People tend to see themselves as being more favourable in contrast to what other people see you as.

That being said - generally, what I got fits me for the most part.

  • usually very skillful with physical stuff (sports, operating vehicles, machines, using tools)
  • good listeners
  • like to figure things out by themselves
  • usually easy going, optimistic and fun to be around
  • observant (constantly gather tons of details about the environment and process them)
  • generally good at problem solving and coming up with solutions on the spot
  • not afraid to try new things
  • independent and determined
  • able to stay calm in crisis situations (because of this many ISTPs end up as firefighters, detectives, ambulance drivers, in rescue teams…)
  • usually quite self-confident
  • as introverts they don’t have trouble respecting other’s needs for privacy or alone time
  • don’t run away from conflict or criticism
  • able to dole out discipline although they’re not interested in doing so
  • practical and have a good grip on reality and what’s going on around them

ISTP weaknesses

  • tend to avoid talking about feelings
  • can sometimes be too impulsive or irresponsible
  • may engage in dangerous, risky activities in search of excitement
  • sometimes too independent and disrespectful of rules or even laws
  • not naturally in tune with what others are feeling
  • can be quite stubborn or disobedient as kids
  • because they live “one day at a time”, they might have problems with long range planning and commitment
  • can sometimes be harsh and mean to others, usually without intent

Mine decsribes me pretty well...especially the weaknesses.
