Pac's Life - Interesting Facts

#1
Well, i've noticed a few interesting points, and i thought i'd share them with y'all, and maybe if anyone else has noticed something too, y'all can post it here (Let's not review/discuss the music/beat/production but rather the details and decisions). So here goes:

- Yaki's verse on Dont Stop is his OG verse on Play Ya Cards Right.. Was that common knowledge or expected?!

- The censorship on "SAIGH" consists of skewing up the beat and vocals all together, which probably proves that Amaru didnt have a pella for this track, cause if they did, censorship would've been blanks in the pella.

- On Track 13, Untouchable, on the edited album, and at the 4:01 mark, u can clearly hear the word "niggaz". Obviously they missed editing it.. Will it cause any problems for the release or has it already passed all checks??

Anything else u've noticed? Speak!!

this happends to alot of edited albums. its not not gonna cause any problems if its released like that(or atleast im assuming). back when i was younger and didnt know any better about buying my cds from the local k-mart, id always notice this. i used to have still i rise (edited), and i remember in a couple songs they left some shit unedited.

Thats a very interesting point on Soon As I get Home. I think your right. Also the first thing I thought when I heard Pacs Life was -- you can barely hear Pac on several track especially Don't Stop. Makes me think maybe these guys don't have many of the acapella.

I know i'm wrong but I was wondering maybe Amaru's usin CPU acapellas on some of these tracks and thats why the vocals are so low. I mean u can barely hear pac.

Personally, Don't Stop, Sleep (with Nuttso), and Dumpin are the tightest tracks on that album.

Nah it's really obvious they didn't have the masters for Soon As I Get Home because if they did I doubt it would of been released in OG.

Here's some interesting facts on the album:

1.) it sucks

2.) see number 2

I didnt notice any problem there.. In Dont Stop, it seems like the pella was equalized somewhat, so it sounds a bit different.. But it's really normal if u ask me. Plus the pella for Dont Stop is available out there, so i'm guessin they did have it.

Again, i dont think they used any CPU pella.. Moreover, the vocals didnt seem too low.. But one thing is sure, throughout the whole album, the beat was too high.. I tested it in many progs, simply too high.. So even though the vocals are mixed at a compatible level with the beat, u might still feel that they're low.. Although i didnt.

You know, that's an infinite loop right there.. i cant seem to get past number 2!! Bad programming right there, that's y u should always avoid using "goto"!!!

That said, maybe it was the "Red Hot Chilipepers" album u should've got  ....

YES, it does!!

Actually, only Yaki's verse seems a bit low, and one might argue that Edi's a bit high.. Nothin catastrophic though..

Here's few interesting facts:

1.) They split Pac's intro on Don't Stop into two parts while og had them overlaping

2.) What'z Next sounds like crunked up version of Moment of Clarity (Jay-Z) (doesn't really matter to me cause I won't listen to this one that much)

3.) International sounds like a motherfucking ringtone

4.) Gravy sounds like OG Loc, homie

5.) This album sucks

I hope one day i'll be able to understand this line.. Ever since Nu-Mixx days, i keep hearing and reading this line.. Sorry y'all, i dont get it. I donnow how a beat sounds like a "ringtone".. I got my ringtone set as an mp3 song (If my homie calls).. It doesnt sound like this one. No offense to u personally P.U, but this line, "sounds like a ringtone", it's getting lame.

It really doesnt. This is logically impossible. (Good + Great + Very Good + Average + Bad + Horrible + Ringtone + etc..) do not add up to "It sucks".

When people say that it's usually describing a beat that sounds computery, some people also say beats like that sound like a game boy game... but you're right, I think its stupid when people say a beat sounds like a ringtone just because it sucks. It has to actually sound like a ringtone to say that it sounds like a ringtone, lol.

On Dumpin they just used Pac's first verse and not Pac's chorus who you hear at the end on the original version. What will they do with this? Make an Dumpin Part II with it in the future?

Man, it's not as horrible as we guys making it, it's even worse, if changing deep song like What'z Next into crunk is ok then somethings wrong with you

It sounds like a ringtone, cause it's simple as hell just a few sounds and shit, no hard hitting drums (Nu-Mixx was good, no ringtone shit there)

I calculated my rating, my review and yeah it adds up (I never rated songs like good, great so I dunno what you mean with that)
1/5 = it sucks
