I dont think Snoop was really Pac's friend, I think he was jealous of Pac coming to Death Row and taking his spot. I think he was a fake friend.

Stop hating on snoops so called hate on Pac because he doesnt mention him each time his on the radio or tv.

just about 2 months ago he did a dedication to Pac at Roskilde Festival, with Pac on the Big screens and shit, telling people to waves 2's in the air, and yell "we love you". I know its the same stuff he does each time, but still shows respect.

''He was a fake friend to Tupac'', well, I strongly recommend you his autobiographical book: 'Tha Doggfather: times, trials and hardcore truths of Snoop Dogg' - really interesting and there is a chapter about Pac which starts by his words ''Closer than a brother''

Maybe this will not make you believe he was his friend but it's good to know what this man has to say before dissing him. BTW: the book is one of the best I've ever read - some 'words of wisdom' there

If he was a close friend how come he didnt wear 2pac shirt but biggie? was he close to biggie? hell nah. he is fake. The VMA is piece of shit nowadays.

Its sad that Pac doesn't have anyone close to him like diddy. :(

The only person who can or should be holding 2pac down is Fatal, but Fatal is being a dickhead when it comes to his fanbase and career.

But you guys are ridiculous though. You want Snoop to carry on a deceased beef? Big & Pac have been dead for years, so it would be stupid/immature for Snoop not to accept Diddy's invitation for Biggie's tribute. 10 years of the Big & Pac beef will soon pass and some of you are still on it.

Are any of you guys calling Jadakiss a traitor or being a fake friend to Biggie for showing up on a track with 2pac? I didn't think so.

Besides I think Snoop may have recorded a song with Biggie because I've heard that Daz has a Biggie verse that he'll only release for 2 million, so Big & Snoop didn't have any beef with each other. Snoop wanted to work with Big when Pac was alive and Biggie shouted out Snoop on Lad's 1st song.

This is sstupid post! You expect Snoop to give tribute to Pac everytime he is on TV! It's irrelevent! They were close and Snoop has given Pac his tributes plenty of times.

the reason he didn't shoutout pac was because it was a big tribute, not a pac one. YOU guys are the one that always complain that the 2 are always linked together, but then when they're not, you throw a fit

Firstly, I didnt diss him, secondly, actions speak louder than words. If Pac was "closer than a brother" to him, he would have had his back and not gone on NY radio in 96 saying all that shit.

I dont know about you, but if one of my friends has beef Im down for them, let alone someone who is "closer than a brother."

Im sure they had some good times and liked each other, but he wasnt down for Pac.

And for the record, this was a BIG tribute, so of course Snoop should pay tribute to BIG and no one else during a BIG tribute; thats cool and not what led to my comments anyway.

I have to question though, why there was a BIG tribute and not one to anyone else?

Because Diddy hosted the award show that's why. It's obvious that if he wasn't the host there would have been no paid tribute to Biggie. If MTV were to pay tribute to Biggie it would've happened last year's 2004 MTV's VMA awards, where it was ten years from that time when Biggie debuted or MTV would pay tribute themselves in 2007, which is 10 years after his death. Plenty of the stuff we seen at the VMA's like the reggaetone performances and danceoffs was all probably Diddy influenced.

Well your friends must be some kids who know nothing about rap then. You need to be putting your friends up on 2pac dvd's and tv specials concerning pac. Maybe that'll let them show him respect and you should've told them about the first ever VH1 special, where a tribute was made to 2pac.
