Mothers...

Ya can't live with 'em, ya can't kill em...without making the news.

My mom is on vacation, several states away in South Carolina at Myrtle Beach (Why she goes on vacation from one beach to another, I don't know...) and I left my phone charger at her house. I don't feel like driving two counties over to get it, so I'm relying on my car charger to last me until I feel the need to go down there again (Cheaper beer prices, I'll go next weekend) and she knows I have no charger...yet, she still calls 12 times, leaves 6 voicemails, and two text messages. Who calls ANYONE this much while on vacation, let alone their children? You'd think she'd want to get AWAY from her children, instead of run up their cell bill by calling from three states away...

When I finally call back, three hours later (Car charger is weak as dick) she is VEHEMENT. As soon as I answer it's "WHAT THE FUCK, MARCUS!?" and I remind her about the charger situation, to which she replies..."YOU'RE DRUNK!! I CAN HEAR IT IN YOUR VOICE!"

I said. "Good guess, but it's the sour patch kids I'm eating." and she hangs up on me. I love my mom.

Anyone else have extremely over protective, psycho mommies?

Hahaha I know the feeling, it's ollllld. How old are you? I always thought once I moved out, she'd chill, but if anything she's gotten worse lol.

It's in their nature to worry, old bitches. Love ya mom!

Even when I was on my own, she would let me be. BUT....if I didn't call just to say hi for one or two days, I was questioned like a witness from a murder scene.

Some mothers are just too protective. I'm guessing both of your guy's moms work a lot right?

The ones that work more seem to be more agressive in taking care of things than those house wives....but i could be wrong.

My mother is one of the nicest persons you will ever meet and i am not ashamed to say i dont know wat i would do without her in my life. Like Stred said, you should be happy she even gives a fuck about you enough to call you up to make sure you are alright.

My mom died when I just turned 5...never really had a strong mother figure in my life. Some of my aunts and older female cousins looked out for me growing up, but it ain't the same is it.....every day I wonder how different my life would be if she was still here.

We all just have to live with the cards life deals us, I guess.

When I was younger, it would drive me nuts, but now I know why she does it. She just cares enough to know I'm safe. I'll be the same with my kids someday.
