CHICAGO -- Noting the "brutal" and "heinous" nature of the charges, Judge Raymond Myles denied bond for a man accused of killing a cab driver last week.
Chicago police said 37-year-old Michael Jackson
has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a cab driver on the city's North Side. Police said while Jackson has been cooperative, he has not given a motive for the crime.
The cabbie, 61-year-old Haroon Paryani, died of head and neck injuries early Friday morning.
