okay people, here's some different clips and such from interviews mentioning tracks that have not yet leaked (and may not even have been recorded):
About how many songs did you do with Pac?
I'd say we got like about 10-12 that we did together.
Do you think those will ever see the light of day? Because they took you off Words to my first Born but left you on Ghetto Star, etc.
Ghetto Star was actually my song. Thats the original. Yeah. Then I got on the internet, did a live interview, told muthafuckas what was happening, this Nutt-so, the nigga on the song Ghetto Star with Pac, thats the original beat that he rapped to, me and him sat there in the studio and rapped to that beat, vibed on what title we gonna come up for it, and man thats what happened.
from a nuttso interview with wcrydaz.com. no mentioned titles, but nevertheless a nice thing knowing there are still unleaked 2pac and nuttso tracks.
What tracks were dropped from Better Dayz?
High Til I Die and one other that I cannot remember...
There are still many unreleased Death Row era tracks such as 'Soon As I Get Home' and 'Thugz Get Lonely Too' - what is likely to happen to these songs?
They will come out eventually...
here's a part of an interview with the estate that was done by bjay (i think) for the better dayz promotional website that he did. one of the greater efforts by a single tupac fan. anyway, seems all this "the next album is the last one" shit is bollocks. note that although the interview claims it is, thugs get lonely too is NOT a death row track.
2UNTOUCHABLE.COM:
Is there many un-bootlegged tracks left for the next LP?
INTERSCOPE INSIDER:
Yes!
2UNTOUCHABLE.COM:
Can you please give us an estimate?
INTERSCOPE INSIDER:
There are very many. Probably around 150.
2UNTOUCHABLE.COM:>
150 unbootlegged Makaveli era tracks?
INTERSCOPE INSIDER:
Including the ones Tupac recorded with DPG, Outkast, and his One Nation shit. Yep Somewhere around there. Give or take a few.
yup, appearently tupac recorded a song with outkast. unless it's a remix, in which case interscope are trying to get away with a lie lol. well it wouldn't be the first time we're given shady facts about tupac's unreleased tracks from the people involved in putting out 2pac albums.
Talked about unheard songs were discussed. He said his favourite un-bootlegged song was 'This Ain't Livin (Original)'. 'Fortune & Fame' as Amaru told us also, is an incomplete and very special song (2 verse solo). it's extremely unlikely to be released as no-one wants to mix Tha 'Lawz or anyone else on it. We talked about the Alanis collaboration, we got full details of the song. Unfortunately Amaru asked us a while back to not release any info about this song... yet. Though I can say it won't be on this upcoming album but will more than likely be released.
for anyone who didn't catch it when i've posted it earlier, here's info on the alanis track. and if you look below, there's another excerpt from the same article which got posted on wildnthawest.com a few years back:
'Better Dayz' is one of two Mr. Biggs (Ron Isley) assisted tracks (the other being 'We Will See' which will not appear on this album but perhaps another future release).
another unleaked track mentioned in the article. personally, i can't wait to hear this one. it sounds like an awesome track.
Lil B: Whats the track with you and 2pac called, and did you record it with him
Top Dogg: Its called Bounce My way with me, 2pac and storm. Recorded after pac left us
i forgot this one.
"I introduced Tupac to the music of Frank Sinatra on the set while we were filming Gang Related. He was not hip to it, but he went wild. He listened to Frank a lot. He planned to do a rap version of Fly Me to the Moon."
from an interview with belushi from the gang related set.
i also want to correct myself. i said that "family pictures" was "confirmed" in a fake bone thugs interview. i was wrong. the song mentioned was "words cant say". i tend to get these things mixed up lol. i've been looking like crazy for the interview where "family pictures" is being mentioned but i can't find it. i do remember that it was said that tupac always wanted to record it, not that it actually recorded it. unless qd3 actually posted on his forum saying tupac recorded it, then that's all we know.
i'm sure i can find even more if i invest some more time in this, but unfortunately my time is capped heh. hope this helps.
