Killuminati

How dedicated was Tupac in his opposition to the Illuminati? Did he ever mention them in an interview? How often are they mentioned in his songs? I know he mentions the Devil and Lucifer in 'my closest roaddogz'. Can anyone shed more light on how seriously Pac opposed them? I can't really think of any more mentions or even hints except the song Killuminati.

why would he not want to kill them off?

the illuminati is the only conspiracy i truly believe is/was real but i think they have dissolved by now or are very weak... i also think our understanding about them is a little different...

but i never heard pac talk to much about it even though one of his best albums is basically named after them

I read somewhere - can't think if it was an interview or not - that Pac said he kept hearing about people (especially prisoners) talking about the illuminati, or that that was the actual source of which he himself got to learn about the cult.
Tupac then expressed his dislike about what he was hearing about the illuminati, and then decided his next plan would be to shit all over the organisation.

I think myself that tupacs opposition to the illuminati is related to his own views on things like politics, government .. etc.

Actually, I think it was quite the opposite. He didn't really believe in the Illuminati theories and he thought there were other, more important problems that he (and others) should deal with. I don't really recall exactly how he said it but it's in one of his interviews, I think in the famous last one?
As for the source where he got it from: I think he mentioned being fed up with all the five-percenters in jail telling him about and warning him for the Illuminati. He says something like "That's why I put a K to it, to kill that Illuminati shit." But I think he meant, not to kill the organisation but to kill the theories and worrying about the organisation. Cause there are other issues that need to be addressed first.

Someone correct me if I'm horribly mistaking but that's how I remember him explaining it.

I guess this view could be summed up with the lines from TDGAFAU:

"Some say expect Illuminati to take my body to sleep
****** at the party with their shotties just as rowdy as me
Before I flee computer chips I gotta deal with brothers flipping
I don't see no devils bleeding only black blood dripping"

That's on some real shit btw...

I hope this kind of answers your question.

How many times does this have to be addressed?

Pac didn't believe in the Illuminati. Killuminati meant that he wanted to kill the bullshit about the Illuminati holding people down. He says all of this explicitly in an interview on the The Last Interview CD that you can buy. The interview title is Killuminati.

Pac was hearing people talk about the conspiracy in jail when he knew that the key to power was all about money, not about some secret group holding power.

For god's sake, stop making threads like this.

Exactly. Everyone should be forced to read this before talking about the damn Illuminati on this forum.
