Just One, at the Very Least, ONE!!!

With the way things are currently looking, I'm hoping for at least one solid track on Pac's Life. That's not much to ask. One song that will exceed all expectations and live up to the hope we cling to. This board has been in anticipation for almost 2 years after the last flop and if there's just ONE classic track to show for it, I will be content.

There will be at least 3 songs I believe.I think these producers have the ability to make a good 2Pac song using their strengths as well as 2Pac's but they try to hard to make Pac sound more modern or match their own style. For instance I like the tempo of untouchable and I like the chorus and anyone mad about the chops vocals should just think at least we're getting an extra 'Pac chorus. But they biggest problem is the chants playing throughout the song. That shit is dumb as fuck, and it doesn't match 'Pac at all.I think if they wanted to they could take the chants out before the album is released and it would be 100x better than left eye's shitty version. The single would still have the chants on it,who cares - at least the album version would be better.
Pac's Life (the single) ius just ruined T.I. verse is stupid as hell.Him saying we never met, is stupid because they are putting songs out like this to give somewhat of an illusion of Pac actually recording the songs with the artists so it takes away some novelty from the casual fans.

PLEASE guys just be grateful we are getting another album than bitching, we could be in the position of Biggie fans and get NOTHING new, I didn't think neither of the first 2 singles were really classics but it doesnt dampen my excitement for the new album, so just sit back relax, stop bitching about the producers and guest artists because no amount of bitching will change it, and just enjoy Pac's music.

Putting only ONE decent track on the album doesnt justify bringing out yet another garbage remix album. I have always had the view that unless at least half of the tracks are originals i'd prefer they didnt bring out albums as its totally pointless

i would rather they didnt put out albums at all, if the quality wasn't up to scratch... we could remember the classics, and make it our aim to get pac's entire unreleased work released to the fans who care for them.

what a lot of people fail to realise though is a lot of the OG recordings cannot be released for copyright or sample clearance or whatever.

Imagine if a Pac OG track came into Amaru's hands and they made it a single and released it and sold 10 million copies, then some guy comes out of nowhere claiming he produced it for Pac back in like 1993 or something and wants a large cut of the profits?

It is not just as simple as saying "oh this is dope yeah we'll release this"

Samples could be cleared and artists would tag along for free if the proper people were put in the PR department. Amaru seems to have difficulties establishing relationships with people.

if I get to hear at least ONE unheard song that sounds decent I'll be happy. I mean, I paid $45 to hear "Too Late" so $15 is cheap to me for at least one good song.

That's just an excuse. The same samples have been cleared by different artists. Look at R U Still Down, I think Lapolt said what, like 26 samples were cleared for that album? Now look at Loyal To The Game, HeY LoOkIe HeRe! They could clear the Elton John and Curtis Mayfield samples that Eminem used but none of the OG ones!

Yeah, since Amaru doesn't know who produced the OG tracks. Look in the booklets, every original producer is credited. And if I'm not mistaken, even when the track is remixed the original producer is still paid.

Yeah. All the people involved in the original tracks get paid. Producers have said it Outlawz have said it.

As for sampling. Can't use that excuse on every single track.
