Jada Pinkett Smith donates $1M to Baltimore School for the Arts in Pac's Name

Jada Pinkett Smith has donated $1 million to the high school from which she graduated and started on a successful acting career. It is the largest ever from a graduate of the performing arts school.

The Baltimore School for the Arts announced the donation for a renovation and expansion from Pinkett Smith on Monday, and said it will name its new theater for her. Pinkett Smith asked that the theater be dedicated to rapper Tupac Shakur, a classmate of hers.
