Alright let's try this again? lol We'll keep this thread up to keep ideas continually coming in so we can try and keep activity in here and keep the freshness.
The obvious ideas are I'd love 2 bring back the old weekly/bi-weekly poll, and eventually the newsletter - but obviously we need 2 wait til shit starts poppin for those.
I think for starters we'll go with the beat battles - any producer can post up a bit that they wanna donate. Make your own thread whenever you want it - title it "OPEN BEAT (Beat Name)" and post a link to the beat download. From there, MCs can write to it [however much they feel, whether a verse or a whole track], and post a link to their finished track in that same post. Once we get a bunch 2gether [time we wait will differ depending on how many/quickly they come in], a new post will be made w/ a poll 2 vote on the best track over the beat.
Im also going to compile a list of active MCs in here, not quite sure what thatll help but it seems like a good idea lol
