Find me a DVD copy (any region), or torrent (with seeders) of a movie entitled Force On Thunder Mountain.
This film is without a doubt, the single worst movie I have EVER seen. It's utterly terrible. Complete garbage. Words cannot describe how incredibly shit this movie is. As you can see, it received the excellent score of 1.8/10 on IMDB.
Years ago, as I found myself watching this movie for a second time, I asked myself why I was watching it again. Well, it's simple. This movie is the definition of HILARIOUSLY bad. That term could have been invented to describe this movie. You watch this movie in utter incredulous disbelief that something could possibly BE this bad. You laugh as you attempt to try and explain to your friends just how shockingly bad this movie is.
A little backstory - here in the UK there is a channel called the Horror Channel on Sky TV. I believe you have to pay and subscribe to this channel and it generally shows average horror movies with the odd classic (Nosferatu, The Cabinet of Dr Caligari, etc) thrown in at peak times. However, when the channel first launched, for the first year, it was free. However, the caveat was that 95% of what they showed was unwatchable.
One day I found myself bored and channel hopping when I stumbled across this movie as it the title credits were starting. 5 minutes in, I thought "wow, this movie sucks". 15 minutes in I thought "this movie REALLY sucks". 40 minutes in I was amazed at just how much one movie could suck. In the words of Butthead - "This sucks more than anything that has ever sucked before". It was truly abysmal.
A couple of years later - I found myself laughing and recounting this exact story I'm telling you now to a friend. His response - "I have to see this movie now. There's no way that anything can be as terrible as what you just described".
I decided to try and track down this movie to show him just how bad it was. I discovered a DVD on a website called "Classic Children's Adventures" or something similar. This DVD purported to contain three movies - a Lassie film, Force On Thunder Mountain, and something else. I bought it immediately.
Upon delivery, I discovered that the DVD had been re-printed, WITHOUT Force On Thunder Mountain. The other two films advertised were on there, and something else had replaced Force On Thunder Mountain. My mission to track down the film had been unsuccessful.
I forgot about it until today. I forget what reminded me about it, but I just thought of it for some reason.
Upon some research - I discovered that there is a regular night in Toronto, Canada called "The Trash Palace" - as the name suggests, this is a group of some sort that gets together in a cinema and watches obscenely bad movies.
I discovered that The Trash Palace had uploaded 2 minutes of the movie to YouTube! Alongside a description stating:
So, ladies and gentlemen, here I present - 2 minutes of the worst movie I have EVER seen (although I believe it's different parts of the movie cut together).....Force On Thunder Mountain!

This film is the reason we started the Trash Palace. One of the first 16mm films in the collection - and the only one we show every four months or so. Watch and find out why!
