Am I the only one that thinks it look nothing like a tiger at all? I've seen normally bred cats that look more like one of the Big Cats than this cat does.

It's only the striped pattern that makes you think tiger. Especially the heads aren't alike at all. Toyger cat looks like a pretty standard pattern-bred European shorthair, with short hair (doh). A tiger head is much more round. hairier and of course it has big cat ears and no little car eats. Half circles vs. triangles. It's a small thing but it really makes a huge difference.

There are other cats that physically look like big felines, just not always the fur pattern.

I've seen them for £500 - they are only £2500 if you want to buy one to breed from.
