I just need to. I need to talk to these porn stars. There's just something fundamentally wrong with what they do and I need to speak to them to ascertain what issues they have that made them enter this lifestyle.

I just feel obligated to try and help them. I really do.

I haven't done research on this, but I've always felt like there's a lack of documentaries done on the porn industry. Nobody really took the camera to find the "ins and outs", how the industry operates, to get the female porn starts to talk about it, etc. I could be wrong. Are there any?

There are loads. There are shows pretty much every night in the UK.

There is this woman, she was a porn star in the late 80s, early 90s. She stopped doing it, and now what she does is that goes into the industry and tries to help pornstars, the ones who've just gotten into it, and get them out of there. I forget her name, but she got one pornstar out, and she's pretty known too. I'll look into it later, but when they interviewed that pornstar. It usually sounds like the typical reasons as to why they got into it.

- Very low self esteem about themselves
- Got a lot of 'attention'
- Money was good
- They were young, and clueless about the world.

Porn business is fucked up. Lots of these girls end up really being hospitalized and don't even want to do 3/4 of the stuff that they do. Anals, monster cocks, gangbangs, dps. It's all stuff forced onto them little by little and many end up just doing drugs to numb out the emotional, mental and physical pain at times.

You know, 99% of the time that isnt true at all. The people that are saying what you said are the same people who want Hip Hip banned.

- Very low self esteem about themselves - You wouldn't do porn if you didn't think you were hot
- Got a lot of 'attention' - This is applicable to any one who seeks fame and money
- Money was good - This is applicable to any one who seeks fame and money
- They were young, and clueless about the world. -So is 95% of America.

Pornstars earn shit loads of money, the most sucessful ones start their own business and earn money through merchandising.

Asia Carrera owned her own computer software company before she did porn, she got into porn through her husband. You really think people like Jenna Jameson, Bella Donna or Jill Kelly don't love the fact they are filthy rich?

Unless they have guns pointed at their heads, they aren't forced into doing shit, all they care about is the $$$$ and an AVN award.

Prize Gotti, I think you severely misunderstand Flipmo's post.

Talking about low self-esteem and how they wouldn't do porn if they didn't think they were hot?

Dude, self esteem is not limited to physical attractiveness. You could have a drop dead gorgeous bombshell walk into your house right now with about as much self-esteem as the homeless guy picking up bottles on your fucking street.

Someone gorgeous can easily have low self-esteem if they feel they are being used, not appreciated, not listened to, etc.

Believe me, these gorgeous porn starts getting fucked in every hole have no self-esteem and it's probably not their own fault. A lot of times, it has to do with how they were raised and the environments they grew up in. And that is why I would love to talk to them because I'm sure I could get through to them.

It's a well known fact that many of these girls have either been molested at a young age or raped.

Prize, about 5% of Pornstars only make it to the Jenna Jameson status. The rest a cum dumps. I doubt a woman who gets fucked in every hole at the same time and pee'd on is someone that is going to become the next Jenna.

You misunderstood my post. Eupha explains it well. Some of the hottest girls I've ever met had the lowest opinion about themselves. Some wouldn't even want to have sex with any kind of light cause they thought they were disgusting.

Dark Phantom gives a very good point also. A good number of these women were molested, abused, and pushed aside by their parents.

Keep in mind, sex is not only sex at times. It can be a defense mechanism in it's own form just to feel better about yourself.

If the porn business was that amazing, some of these wouldn't be committing suicide.

Theirs really nothing you can do though and not sure why you feel "obligated" to help pornstars.

You can't change people by just talking to them. For example I'm sure anyone who's been to school has had guest speakers such as police, ex-cons, celebrity's, come and talk about "don't do crime, don't do drugs" etc etc but people/kids don't want to hear that, and won't.

"Can't turn a ho into a housewife" as the saying goes. And that saying is a very, VERY true statement.

The second best thing than chatting to porn stars would be to check out some personal interviews with them. The ones I have seen porn stars admit to having a history of incest. Their social behaviour is like that of the Bonobo monkey - humans closest relative in the wild.

ive seen a few documentaries about porn but the porn stars i saw speaking were intelligent women who loved having sex and make money doing it. its their responsibility to put in their contract what they will and wont do and most people will be respectful of that

you wanna see a fucked up porn star and how she became so, check out the interviews with Belladonna on youtube. Porn stars have no concept of taboo in a philosophical ethical/moral context
