Driving through Bosnia and on the coast of Croatia in a Mercedes C215 is the most amazing thing i've done in my life car-wise.

The best part of driving in Croatia is around Velebit mountain, then looking down and seeing cars torn apart that flew off while driving drunk :thumb: :D

Honestly, I would just have the windows down and push my car to MY limits, since I'm no Schumacher. Either my car or my dad's car would suffice for this trip. Not sure if I'd want some music as I did this. Probably not.

Given that scenery, I think even a 20 year old Fiat Panda would suffice.

edit: crikey at the quality of the video. thats one nifty camera

Mercedes uses W's to designate chassis codes. Every Benz is a W, it's not a class.

A W215 exists. It's indeed an old CL class. A C215 never existed tho.

I know, it seems like both are acceptable ways of saying it. The title is "C" but in the article it's mentioned as a "W."

What car would you take on this scenic route, Duke? We haven't had a good car talk since I mentioned my dad getting an Alpina. And the shitshow that followed.

This summer I drove through Bosnia(it really looks the same as in that video) in an Audi 3.

Amazing.

That trip in the C215 was 4 years ago though, but it was memorable.

Yeah, even the places with the most turmoil still have some beautiful. I imagine this for all of Africa, Afghanistan, and Iraq, places torn by war, much like Bosnia.

I dunno. On paper, going there in something like a really nimble thing such as an Elise would be very cool, but I'd likely end up in a fireball down in a ravine.

Haha.I wouldn't mind a roadster for it either. Aston Martin convertible? M6? Veyron!!

Wouldn't want a Veyron on a road like that. You could never come close to properly flooring the thing. It'd be an excercise in frustration management, lol.
