Ive always wondered the same thing.
The red coverup could be a walkietalkie, cellphone or a pistol (id lean towards the walkie or cellphone) judging by the hand position, although you only see a small part of it.
But then again, why would anyone cover up those objects except, well, a weapon.

Ive seen it without and there is nothing under it. Mr.mak had a big thread about it where one pic had the wrong date on it where the other had the correct one. I believe the incorrect pic is the real without the red rag.. As far as pac's face, he was just involved in a gang fight in a very public place while on parole. Plus he was prob caught be surprise. HOW WOULD YOU LOOK?? 2pac was no miss cleo he knew nothing but what he had ALREADY done... not what the future held... P.s A dante like member on MR.mak claims 2 have the red rag as seen in pic with pacs blood still on it. He kept it in a plastic zip lock bag. He put up the pics, some believe others dont...
