Clean version is better because of the additional verse. I like the album version, and would prefer that one if he had just done the last verse in that one as well. Peace.

Clean Version hands down!

1) The beat is slightly diffrent and better
2) the 3rd Verse is fire.
3) The words he changes from curse to clean are great.

I don't understand why people like that verse so much. I used to, then I realized how sloppy some of it seems. Like prison rhyming with prison... breathe is used with believe, breathin is used with believin... some of it just seems weird.

It does have some good lines, though.

100 votes :) . overall 6 out of 10 prefer the video version over the album version, shit im actually surprised, i thought i would be of the few that liked the clean one.

I was just watchin' some music videos and came along "2Pac - I Ain't Mad At Cha". I didn't listen to this track for a long time - even though I love this song - and realized the differences again.

I don't really know why, but I am feeling the video version! Pac's voice is so ... emotional ... in this version. Even his flow is a little bit different! I don't know if you feel me, but this track is really touching me.
