How old were you when Tupac died?

#42
I was 6. I remember looking for some kids show and MTV News reported that he died, and I remember watching it (I think I was inticed by the Californication video, watched that, then there came the news.) Kinda funny, isn't it, that while looking for a kids show, finding news on his death, then ending up listening to him as I turned older..

Because there was a certain 'mood' that was present at that time in 96, and being 17, and being able to form adult hypothesis, with the knowledge to look at all things available at the time, interviews, etc, one could conclude that something mysterious was going on.
If i was 8, i wouldnt have givin a shit let alone been able to critically think.

Im telling u, "if you take the time to feel his records, chill a second, his blind method, will still wreck it".

From the Span of Tupac's "death", Pac released more albums dead than any other artist alive... Gay Z, Nas, all the big names, fucking out performed all them niggaz from the grave, thats no accident.

He recorded all them songs because he knew he would be 'dead'. To be released while he is gone.

A fucking Living Legend.

Not to sound typically American arrogant, but if u not from the states, isnt fair to assume you may not have as much incite as an individual who lives here? Vegas- you wouldnt know shit about Vegas being a crooked city. U wouldnt know about cops targeting blacks, the black panthers, none of it. U may know from reading, but this is my experience.

I dont give a shit about the London rap scene, ya heard me!
I dont know barely any 17 year old that can look at anything with a "adult hypothesis". And many fans that became fans after his death feel that same mysterious feeling surrounding his death, so I dont see your point. Obviously fans that were old enough to be fans of Pac will have their memories of when Thug Life came out and yadda yadda but his message is still around us, its not mysteriously vanished after his death its still here and we all hear it.
And not being someone from America gives us foreigners the unique chance to look without having the propoganda blinding us, although people from other countries have the same opportunity to be ignorant about things.
Anyone in the world that cares to find out anything will easily find that Vegas was built by crooks, Panthers had major pressure put on them by the government and many of their human rights violated. These are not things unique to America. Any person on this planet can identify with that life, just in different countries done by different people.
Pac made so much music so generations could hear his message, not just for people who can remember when he died.
