HELP NEEDED - Impact of Nature vs. Nurture on Tupac's development

#1
Whatup, Im doin a small presentation on how Nature (genetics, heridity, etc.) and Nurture (environment, up-bringing, social factors) contributed to Tupac's development--all aspects of life considered--intelligence, personality, temperment, creativity, social attitudes, etc.

Now, we all know that the most influential aspect on Pac's development was nurture. He was raised in extrememly dire conditions and was surrounded by various elements of street life. His mother's child-rearing also greatly influenced his development as a child.

However, I'm kind of stuck on the nature aspect. As far as I can tell, besides the fact that he was intelligent and black, there was little influence of genetic factors on his development.

So, if anyone can throw some ideas my way on how you think nature or nurture affected him and caused him to become what he became, I'd greatly appreciate it. Like many of us, I have a very extensive knowledge on Tupac's life, from before he was born to after his death. Thus, I'll know what youre talking about.

I'm presenting on Monday morning, so let the discussion begin asap..

Nurture is the predominant factor of the two. I think it's pretty safe to assume that had tupac, or anyone else for that matter was raised in high society england things would be pretty different. Nature just doesn't play a significant factor and also, i don't see why Tupac has anything to do with this type of presentation. The results for anyone else would be the same.

Actually, the results would not be the same for everyone. If the person I was studying had Down's Syndrome or any other kind of genetic disease, then nature would obviously play a huge role because no matter the environment, the person's development would be impaired.

The presentation is for a psychology of child development class. The assignment is to study a famous person and explain how nature and nurture contributed to their development. I chose Tupac because he had a difficult childhood, and also because I already know enough about him (yeah, I'm lazy I know.)

Also, does anyone have any video clips of Pac talkin about stuff that relates to his upbringing? I own a lot of Pac DVDs, so also, if anyone knows of a good free ripping program, I'd greatly appreciate it.

the only nature i'd consider relevant to his success was that he was a relatively healthy guy, which in turn supported his work ethic. most people couldn't handle the workload he placed on himself mentally or physically.

Some ppl cant do the work load he did in 1 day in a week.
