I came back to london to celebrate. I basically booked my ticket last wednesday and left on saturday night lol.. very last minute..

Anyway, I went out to dinner with my whole family to the Mango Tree restaurant in london.. its frikkin good.. my bro has been telling me about it for a while.. and I love thai food so we tried it out :)

Also, Its my first birthday with my whole family since 2004! cos Ive been in the states since then they've always missed it :( The funny thing is, is that my parents sent my birthday card to the states cos you have to send it a week early lol..

My wife made me an awesome card that I know she spent hours on, which was really sweet.. also, when we get back to the states we're gonna go away for a long weekend away to celebrate by ourselves..

I got a bunch of clothes, money and small things.. I NEVER ask for anything so everyone complains that Im hard to shop for lol.. My brother wanted to buy me a projector or a PS3 but I said not to.. he's 5 years younger than me and should be saving his money! I dont like getting unnecessary things that cost alot.. especially if Im not gonna use it often

You sound like a good man.

Not my bro, he is like 9 yrs older than me, and the dude just asked me yesterday to take out a 7.500 loan for his house down payment, and that the government would pay me back. (keep in mind, he hasn't offered me help, and i have been jobless since December...but I have great credit)

All he wanted was to say thank you for it, no profit or nothing.

You want your bro to save $, then thats cool.

I am glad you got time to spend with everyone, that -imo....means more than Thanksgiving, where everyone seems to be about food and that's it.

oh, and yes. I am the same way. No one ever knows what to get me. :)

Thanks man :)

Thats how I feel.. My family and me are really tight so it was just about spending time with them... the best part is my wife LOVES them too so I never have to worry about her feeling left out if I want to come home for holidays etc.. she probably wants to more than me!
