i saw videos on the news of buildings shaking but not falling apart. thank god their infrastructure were strong enough if not it would be haiti 2.0.
it still shows that despite any amount of preparedness there will still be a lot of victims. it really sucks. these videos scared the shit out of me.

Agreed on most points. Not sure about on top since their economy has been sluggish lately and have been replaced by China (now they have 3rd biggest GDP). Basically, I'm just arguing cause I like to. 
And to show Pittsey that, no Pitts, the 90s were shit for Japan, hence the term "The Lost Decade" lol. So it's not like they've had a booming economy forever, maybe in the 60s, 70s, and 80s yeah.

Also I have never studied economics, so only know what I have read or watched in the news. If I am wrong, I am. I never stated it as fact. It's just as far as I can remember Japan have had high inflation.

When the Christchurch Quake hit, now this it just makes me remember at anytime Earth can just say "FUCK YOU".
My friend was in Japan at the time but luckily wasn't in the North.
