Pittsey said:I understand what Dante meant about being "all over the track". It's your rhyme structure, you seem to be flowing all over it. You're not on beat, so to speak. You need to flow with the beat, start at the begining of the bar. (I'm not an expert though, so I could be wrong)
Americans can't understand the British London accent, and they hate it, so you'll always get that from anyone over the water. The same reason why so many UK rappers are failures in the US. Plus I tend to think most UK rappers aren't as good with the English Language, odd as it seems.
Anyway, it needs a bit of work, take the criticism on board and work with it. You'll have to be pretty damn good to get praise from a US hip-hop fan, they're spoilt with all their good artists. You may do better getting feedback from people from the London scene. Grime and garage fans (which is pretty much UK hip-hop) are more forgiving. Plus they'll understand the accent better.
You from London? By the way, I cant use Rapidshare, If you can put it through Yousendit I will check it out.TG1 Ghetto One said:Thanks for da feedback yeah i get what ya sayin, ting is i like to show versitality in my flows thats why sometimes i change da rhyme pattern through da tracks jus show i dont stick to one basic rhyme pattern show my different skills, yeah i definatley feel ya about the US not feelin UK artists cause alot of the UK who've heard the mixtape are feelin it and ive got a couple of distributors who wanna sell it through london and other sites, i forgot that the US hate the UK scene so much to be honest but that probs wont change, yeah im always tryin to improve thats what all artists should try and do so i take advice and run with it, yeah alot of UK people say they feelin it so its lookin like it could do well round here

P.S. lol at what Limn said
Pittsey said:It's not that the US hate UK artists. It's just compared to US artists most UK artists sound like shit.
ye man.
TG1 most people are going to hate cuz of the accent so they wont even listen to the whole preview they will just close it after a few seconds. and because of the other reason i told you that they dont even give unknown artists a chance so dont worry yourself about what is said on this board. just know to filter out the bullshit and use the advice that is relavent to you to your advantage.
personally, i liked it. i couldnt really catch everythin you were sayin but the beats were sick. and the quality was kinda bad so i had a harder time understandin. and in all honety i like the UK scene less than anyone you know but that doesnt matter. dont take it like you're going to stay local and not come over to the US cuz anythin is possible. if canadian artists can be big in the US, so can UK artists. i think you should keep doin what you do cuz if your gettin all this attention from distributers in the UK means that they're feelin you so thats good.
but ya man put that mixtape out to the streets and go from there i think you'll do fine. anyway i came just to respond to this thread and now im out like jimmy hoffa. HellRazor05 WUDUP!! stay up.

These beats sound sicc. You got a good flow and these lyrics sound sicc. You rap brilliant fast. You seem to have an American tinge and I think you should take that out. Bit corny at sometimes.
If you tune your voice a bit you got the potential to get signed.

Bigg Limn said:Overall sounds like U still findin ur flow. Sound sloppy on all them tracks, can tell breathe control is a problem. And are U really putting tagged beats on ur ALBUM? U need to stay away from fast-spitting for now until U get the slower rhythms down smoother. Keep elevatin tho.
