And that is why I'm not really a fan of the tv show. You don't get to know anything about this world. For example, Stannis fucking Melisandre? That is 100% against who is character is.

It's kind of implied in the books, and I think it has to be shown, otherwise TV viewers next week would end up with a massive WTF moment

Just cant get into this season. First season was epic, but, I just feel like all the men are pussies now that Ned and Drogo are gone. Kahl Drogo was alpha as fuck, now there's just no one to relate to... And the story is all over the place.

Hope it gets better.

LOL True. But Ned was my favorite character, I thought the series would be about him becoming King and he has awesome charisma. Drogo was entertaining. None of the characters left are either right now.

Ned was awesome. It was a pretty big god damnit moment for me when he died. Give it a little time though... his daughter, Arya, develops into one of the most bad ass characters in the series. Same with John, he becomes quite the character.

Ned was awesome. It was a pretty big god damnit moment for me when he died. Give it a little time though... his daughter, Arya, develops into one of the most bad ass characters in the series. Same with John, he becomes quite the character.

Ill give it some time, I wont abandon the series. I havent read the books so I dont know who develops into what, so Im just commenting on the state of things right now.

this show sucks. i don't know why i'm watching. i wonder if HBO folks watch this and think "damn, we dumbed down for those comic book moron types, didn't we".
