I love this website, it has saved my ass so many times and has cut down the time it takes to write a french paper from an hour to like 15 minutes cuz I just type it all in english and it translates it all :thumb:

I'd say about 20% comes out to be whack, but they are easy mistakes and quit to spot out, and it still cuts down on a lot of time and puts the little accents in for you already

Yeah, I was about to say exactly what Amara said about the grammar & I know that this particular site doesn't translate correctly.

Although I appreciate it's advantages when you just want single words or common sentences, I feel that otherwise it is a bit of a liability.

i used to love using that to write french papers , except , my teacher used to always know i was using , a quick way to tell if it is translating correctly is to type what you want in english , translate it into french , then translate it back to english . I agree with the other guys , most of the time the shit does not come out, you have to use grammar at its simplest

to get a real translation you need the human translation offcourse...so when you use free translation you'll get a fucked up but still ok translation..

lmao...last year in spanish class we had to write an essay in spanish, so my friend used this to translate his text, but he accidentally translated half of it to french and didn't realize it...she made him come to tutoring sessions every week hahaha

yeah but you gotta understand this just translates word for word, it does not conjigate the verbs, so many times this has fucked me up because it gives me the wrong conjication or just leaves it unconjicated
