and for all the years before that? you can't be a great mother if you're a drug addict. don't forget, a child's most important developmental phase is between the ages of 1-5, the period where Courtney was still hooked. and she's been such a great role model, right? not only that but her father committed suicide. that will be one messed up girl. as for your assertion that Courtney is a good mother, i'm not going to completely dispute it because i wasn't there when she was raising her, were you? but from what i've been hearing over the years, and the fact that at several points she was almost taken away from Courtney tells me she can't be that great of a parent.

Great mother, c'mon man. If you think she's a great mother then what do you call hard working, non drug taking, staying at home mothers? I aint disputing the fact she loves her kid, but great parent, i dont think so

Child welfare authorities alluded to drug addiction when responding to the press on the matter, though they didn't comment directly.[47][48]
On August 19, 2005, Love admitted using drugs in violation of her probation. She was ordered into a 28-day drug treatment program by a judge who initially said "my belief was that you need to go to the county jail." This program was also violated, and on September 21 she was sentenced to six months in lock down rehab.
Im pretty sure most responsible parents would agree she certainly aint no great mommy lol.

exacxtly, that's all i meant. like stefan said, there's no question she loves Frances, but love alone doesn't make you a good parent. in facvt, to be honest, i don't think most celebrities make great parents, for the simple fact that they can't be there for their kids if they're on a tour, or making a movie or whatever. half these celeb kids end up being raised by nannies. and then we wonder why they're so fucked up.

lol that was barely 2 years ago. and if she stays clean, she can be a good mother (i hope) but i imagine some damage has already been done. she hasn't exactly been the best role model. either way my point was that this girl has had a hard, sad life, and will most likely have some major issues when she gets older, not the least of which is the fact that her father made a terrible decision and took himself out of her life for his own selfish reasons. that alone can really mess a kid up, never mind all this other shit with Courtney.
