I wonder how some of the peoples opinions would of been if Pac released Better Dayz when he was alive and All Eyez On Me when he died. It would probably be the other way around.

True because if 'Better Dayz' had been dropped when Pac was alive the tracks would have been in Original form, which we know are classics.

If 'AEOM' had been a post-humous release then the tracks which are classics would have been butcherd with wack beats and unfitting guest apearences.

i wont even go into the reasons why that's a completely ridiculous and invalid thing to say. You made this thread about better dayz being underrated but now you've turned it into better dayz vs. all eyez on me, i don't get it...

and just because better dayz lyrics are better, haunted, doesn't make it a better album. You think pac's best work had ONLY good lyrics with crappy beats or vice versa? No, it takes a combination of both for a truely good album. SO I don't see how better dayz is underrrated

i never thought it was underrated. and it CERTAINELY aint a classic. people throw the term classic around too freely.

MATW = classic
7 day theory = classic

thats it. those are his only classic albums.

better dayz is average at best due to wack guest lyrics and mediocre beats.

still ballin (didnt like at first but sounds raw)
when we ride on our enemies (og beat KILLS it, lyrics still listenable)
changed man (lol, sooo wack)
never b peace (og KILLS this due to the insane lyrics by storm and marvalos, enough said. this beat aint bad tho)
fuck em all (kinda raw, like it, no doubt og would have been sick)
street fame (og is classic and so is this but this wins out)
watcha gonna do (lol, cheap beat, OG MURDERS this, so does storm)
Fair Xchange (Jazze saves this album, og is better but this aint bad)
Late Nite (good but sounds out of place with all the remixes)
Ghetto Star (OG is classic and so is this)
Thugz Mansion acoustic (errr....skip. too bare and Nas? wtf?)

better dayz (beautiful, isley rips it)

military minds (= og, both versions r good)

catchin feelings (beat is sick, napoleon comes hard aswell)
there u go (another jazze phile productizzle, i like this man, very chilled out beat)
this life (og, enough said)
who do u believe (how many times this song been released lol?)
they dont give a fuck (nice, og production is nicer tho)

overall grade 84/100

with better beats, less guest appearances from randoms spitting wack choruses and verses, og outlaw lyrics and one single disc then maybe it could reach that classic status.

It's just my opinion on how i like my music, i never liked all eyez on me. When the cd came out i listened to it a couple times and then put it away and put in my 2pacalypse cd. I dont like pop beats or pop songs. I dont think better dayz is a classic either, i just think its better than all eyez on me.

For real, I think better dayz is most definently a classic. Ofcourse it dosnt live up to an all eyez on me, but its a great great album. Definitly one of my most listened to albums
