Take heed....

The Definition of Rap:

'A form of popular music developed especially in African-American urban communities and characterized by spoken or chanted rhyming lyrics with a syncopated, repetitive rhythmic accompaniment.'

Nate Dogg's vocals are a chant, so that makes him a Rap Artist.

My favourite Rap Artist to collaborate with Tupac = Nate Dogg. Also Kadafi.

Peace Lol!

good schooling bro! :thumb: and i hate to open up this discussion on either nate is rap artist or not cause some people here know more about hip hop than i do, so let me ask you this when was the last time nate spit some sick ass rhymes at you? i mean yea he considered as a "rapper" i guess i meant a rapper that rhymes. not kc & jojo or nate dogg or anyone on hooks for that matter :p

peace dude

Nice try, but Nate Dogg sings, he doesn't chant

Chant: A short, simple series of syllables or words that are sung on or intoned to the same note or a limited range of notes

Nate's vocals are not monotonous, therefore they cannot be considered a chant. Nice try, but NAte is not a rapper.

nobody mentioned Treach, or Redman, Method Man,....i would have loved if he had more songs with Naughty By Nature (Treach) and Richie Rich.....
Pac never collaborated with Method Man or Redman... Got My Mind Made Up was a actually a Dogg Pound song that featured Kurupt, Daz, Meth, Red, Rage, and Inspectah Deck... but DPG gave the song to Pac, Rage used her verse for a different track, and Deck's verse was taken off

Pac was never actually in the studio with them... he was added later
