If you're greatest accomplishment in life is having a kid or kids and that is all you intend to talk about do not make a fucking facebook.

No one cares that you just picked little so and so up from school now you have to go do homework, or that you haven't slept in who knows how long cus the kids teeth hurt. This isn't exactly the truth but facebook is for people who have some sort of a social life. You're a fucking parent now, stop trying to clinch on to what little social life you have left and raise the kid to not be as lame as you.

That's all I really wanted to say. I'm too much of a pussy to put it as a status so yeah, I came to where pussies can be pussies and everyone knows your name, SH.

In honor of Shadows, let's make a "point" to this thread I suppose. What else annoys you about people on facebook?

How about shit like this

One of my friends is a god damn lame, his status reads

Friend who is lame: Stay calm "his name". its gonna be alright.

Some trick: whats the deal my dougie?

Friend who is lame: I wish I knew how to put it into words to be completely honest with you.

Get the fuck on with that bullshit.

I don't like people that simply say "dislike" because there isn't a "dislike" button.

I hate people that are passive aggressive towards the opposite sex in their statuses. I wish people were more straight forward, tagged the person they were talking about, and just verbally raped them.

I try to be direct in mine. I don't sugar-coat what I have to say. And for those of you that are friends with me on FB and on here, yes, I have no problem in saying those things to people in real life. People I know and people I don't know. I've had plenty of people defriend me over it because it makes them sad or angry, but I still have 400+ people left so I know I'm not doing it wrong.

Song lyrics are another thing that irritate me. If they had some meaning to their mood, cool. But if it's a rap song, usually, the person is not the persona the aura the lyrics give off. A high school burnout that works at a pizzeria talking about rims on their cars and the cash they have through lyrics is very hard for me to believe. But that's a smaller issue.

haha I love putting rap lyrics up if I find them witty. I don't have any other platforms to do so where I can reach a bigger audience. For me it's more about putting artists on that others might not know or putting people up on new songs. Well, I have kelli's streethop page too as a platform but the viewership is limited.

I hate when it rains, I see a bunch of statuses complaining about the rain. and this is seattle. i mean, if you're not used to the rain by now, there's something wrong with you. or every monday when people post in the morning about how they don't wanna be at work. guess what, unemployment's high, there's motherfuckers who do so step down bitch.

Aron I agree completely about the kid status updates.

"My baby is in bed smiling at me, I love being a mom." STFU no one cares that your baby is smiling right now.. I didn't care when he was smiling earlier or yesterday either. lol

I am guilty of occasionally saying "dislike". :(

I'm nowhere near as blunt as you are Smacky.. but i'm pretty straight forward and don't really care 100% if what I post offends ppl. But i'd be lying if I said I didn't care at all. I don't like to be rude on purpose. But if me being me offends someone.. then thats a different story.

Then delete them. You or they don't know you as you really are.

Now, I have Christian friends and if I had something prolific making fun of something that may offend them, I probably won't post it. But regarding my views on an issue, sure, I'll put it out there as it is, unfiltered. So I won't joke about something to INTENTIONALLY hurt someone, but if it's a right that I have to say it, it's a right they have to remove me if they don't like it. I've removed few people in my time, so it really takes quite a bit to get to that point.

I also take other people's blunt statuses with stride as well. Because they put up with mine, it's only fair. So..hope I entertain you now that we're friends. :)

Nothing I couldn't get used to. People are retarded like that. And the internet makes people say so retarded things that they would never even consider saying in real life. And if they did, then wow.

I dislike attention whores of any sort though.
Be it "Oh, it's such a terrible day :(" or "it's the best day of my life" blabla.
And people usually totally exaggerate so it feels more like "my life sux I want to shoot myself my boyfriend doesn't love me I have diarrhea zomg *unbelievably cheesy paulo coelho quote* blabla nobody cares about me so post a reply pls I'm an attention whore kthxbye" type of things.

Oh also corny comments and quiz results. I used to do a quiz from time to time when I was bored but some people actually have friends who post comments like "oh yeah, that's TOTALLY you", "ow sweet you're cute" etc. Yeah, guys complimenting females with cheesy random pseudo-sentences also fit this category. It screams "I'm a loser".
No, really - come to think of it there are many things that you can do on a social website that look retarded and except of humorous or informative posts most things are better to be kept to yourselves.

I think most of my Facebook friends are pretty normal so I only see their friends posting crap like that though. Fortunately.

LOL, that dude is SO cheesy. I know people that quote him on the regular. They think it's profound but usually it's just lame.

^I hate when girls change their pic to their mood.

I think my best status lately was tagging 6 women, complimenting them all, (some even hated each other and became friends) and them texting me afterward saying wassup with me, wanting to see me and shit. lol

Halloween came, then I "didn't say no names" but most if not all the women were there, and i said they could "arrest me, be my pochantos" and shit like that.

Results? Same thing.
Except this time, one girl was serious and wanted to fuck. I almost went through with it! Almost! I ALWAYS wanted to get on that since HS, but I ended up finded my ex fiance, since she was taken.

Overall, I agree with the whole no one cares about your kids. When I become a parent, sure I might do it at first, but seriously? everyday?

I like to be different, I say corny stuff, i say funny stuff, then random stuff.
I don't like to be boring and it pleases different audiences...

lately though, i'm on twitter. It allows me to open up my personality a bit more, even though I'm not necessarily personal on it much.

I hate it when people talk about their kids constantly too.

"It's "my kids" birthday today". So fucking what. Get them a facebook page, and if I'm interested, I'll add them.

Sorry Shadows I didn't really understand what your post was saying. All I know is I think it's kind of weird when people hit on chicks on facebook

Shadows sometimes posts cheesy stuff but it's the way he pimps so it's all good. There's always an army of females liking that stuff so there must be something about his cheesy posts :p

i hate people who do too many status updates a day. and people whos are utter crap.
co signed. I have this girl who has status updates every hour. even when she's "out" (as per her previous status updates) she keeps posting shit like "drink #1" or like "omg having so much fun tonight!". like honestly you're out, what the fuck?! the only 2 people that maybe care are out with you, shut the fuck up.

ps i'm seriously considering deleting her. it annoys me. she's an ex-coworker of mine.

There's nothing wrong with macking on girls on Facebook. But I figure if I have her on Facebook and want to mack on her, I probably have her number too because I hope I have met her before adding her so I'd just do it via text. I wouldn't tag a girl and write some corny status but I can't knock a different strategy, so props for that. Sometimes I post a flirty comment on a picture I like and usually something as distinct from the other guys, which is not hard, as long as you don't say she's hot or cute. "Hey, I use that toothpaste!" Then the girl would message me and be like "hey long time no talk, what have you been up to?" and I'm thinking "I see this chick online all the time and she never hits me up, so cut the crap trick".
