Do you have a picture of your partner as your pic on your social networking profile?

^Yup. I don't have a camera so all my photos come from other people. I don't know how its like for you guys, but when I go out with a group of girls at least one is snapping pictures all night and by the next night they are on facebook.
That's strange to me. There are maybe 1 or 2 situations a year when someone takes pictures and it always seems strange. If I went out with my friends and someone started shooting "facebook photos" that would be crazy retarded. No, I don't know a single person doing that.
I have just a few old pictures of myself on facebook so people who add me know who I am as I can't be bothered to upload new ones. I'm tagged on maybe a few.
I don't think I ever had a picture with any of my girlfriends online. A few of my girlfriends uploaded pictures of me with captions that screamed "he's mine bitches, gtfo" so yes, to me uploading pictures of your girlfriend in 99% is because you're insecure. Being tagged on a picture with your partner is a different story though.

^@ Masta...I started taking pix when I was young with my moms old 110mm camera. It was ancient as hell even when I had it. It didn't even have built in flash. I think I was like 11 or 12 when I got my own 35mm camera and you could not tell me shit. :D There is picture proof for every phase of my awkward childhood...thanks to myself.

Anyway...I'm that annoying person that takes pix of everything. Before it was popular to take pix to plaster them on Myspace or Facebook. I keep it in my bag...it has a waterproof case. I have it 24/7 I have 1000s and 1000s of pictures. I can't wait until I'm a grandma and get to tell my grandkids the stories that go with the pix. Like the pic of the butterfly that landed on my boob and would not get off. I was afraid to touch it bc I didn't want to wipe off that powder/fur/scales? that helps it fly. (I dk what it is)

It's not that strange :worried:

^^ exactly. alternatively, im gathering that some people here purposely avoid uploading couple-y photos in fear of being seen as 'insecure'. that in itself is insecure.
Profile photo. Not any photo.

I have seen lots of butterflies and caterpillars in my garden this year. And Bees too. Which are getting rarer.

One example of the weirdest shit I've seen is, one of my friends ended up 'sharing' their FB with their significant other, after she got preggo, then shortly after, Married.... and it's just too weird and insecure, and I no longer talk to that person because I don't even know who I'm talking to anymore, and I was friends with both.
omg it creeps me out when people do that. it's like wtf. are you not a person on your own sometimes?

it's normal to have a couple of pictures of you and your partner on fb, sometimes as a default if it's a really nice picture. but if each of them are the both of you, something is wrong. whether it is you are too dependent on that person or you need to show off for your own insecurities.

I have a girl on my fb who had 200 friends but now only 23 because her boyfriend is insecure. Faggot.
haha my ex girlfriend made me delete all females off facebook and msn. she was insecure.

its also a pain in the ass if your scoping out some birds profile on facebook and she has a photo with her and a dude and there looking pretty close to tell weather its her bf or not.

This thread is stupid, lol. It's not a big deal. I'm the first to think too much into things but I really wouldn't take the time to psycho-analyze a "couple picture" as a main profile pic on fuckin' Facebook lol. It's only an issue if it comes up between the two people in a relationship. Now THAT might show insecurities. But as an outsider looking at a picture of a couple, I would never try and label that as an insecure thing to do. There are too many other scenarios that could be in play. Whatever, though. PITTS you're too old to care about this shit.

^it is insecure or shows signs of high dependency if the person's facebook consists mainly of pictures of him/herself and his/her partner.

Actually, thinking more about it, I've been analyzing a couple of couples.

The most insecure is obviously when they share the FB.

The next level is 'Good night baby, I love you"......(looks down un-recent posts) "Baby, I can't wait to see you"....(3 hours before that), "I Miss you."

um, you can't do all that through text, or phone call? Fuck outta here, it says u used Blackberry app, hoe.

Then I guess it would be the "pictures of couple and no opposite sex pix"

Little things annoy me. Insecure people annoy me. You may have a point though. But when I am bored I facebook stalk.
