man, when i was in manchester i was watching a docu on some channel there, i think national geographic. the show was a documentary about an older couple who have travelled around the world diving. it started out with them diving with sharks. then they made some sort of armor that they put on and let the sharks attack them to see if it would hold. it did, however the way they shook the limbs to utilize their saw teeth had given the woman lifelong pains in her elbow and thigh or something. anyway, later on in the show the focus moved away from sharks and over to marine wildlife in general. they visited a few places in the show, among them a sunken ship off the northeastern coast of australia. it is positioned in a place where there is nothing but sand for miles in each direction. however, the ship had made a home for a diverse plant life, and eventually it became a babylon 5 for the fishies down there. in the same show they also went diving under a dock in some malaysian island or something. i don't remember the actual location, but the way i remembered it the wildlife under this specific dock was unique to anything in the whole region. this is where the fishes i spoke of were. i can't even explain how they looked and swam because it was like nothing i have ever seen before.

it was fucking cool and i spent hours on the national geographic website not finding out what the show was called. if anyone knows what the name of the couple is or what the show was called, i guess you get e-props from the preacherman. anyway, you'd absolutely love it.
