yeah...he is the shit...that mother fucker made a dead bird come back to life...and that's just the tip of the iceberg...he did all sorts of crazy shit...too many to name right now, but if it's all true...than that's one tight ass mother fucker

first off, im pretty sure it was a fly (unless i havent seen this trick, but ive seen all his shows) and second of all, "bringing a fly back go life" is the easiest trick in the book

You write something down on a piece of paper without him seeing it. You crumble it up, give it to him. He lights it on fire, extinguishes it on his shirt. On his belly, the word on the paper. How?

He brought back to life a fly and a pigeon, the fly one is to freeze the fly then just blow on the fly so it unfreezes and flies away, the pigeon..im guessing the same...seems weirder.

He normally tells the person to write it in the corner of the paper, he tears the paper but keeps the corner in his hand. This making him know what to write on his belly.

I forgot how it all went, but i think he makes the person write it down again, which gives him time to write it on his belly.

David Blaine is all fakeness. I had an ebook and I'm sure you could still find it in certain places, but the book clearly shows how his most astonishing tricks were performed. Camera and perspective illusions, mostly, to the TV audience when he does such things as floatation. If someone finds the ebook, you'll know what I mean, it explains his tricks alot better.

I just saw a show on TLC where he was doing the levitation trick and I noticed that he had these three girls huddled up really close so they could 'catch him if he fell' and it seemed like he was looking over his shoulder to make sure that nobody else (with the wrong angle) was looking.. You can tell a lot when you pay attention to his body movements instead of his tricks.

Whatever the case may be, the guy brings a smile to my face because it's fun watching him and the speechless people. But there is never a doubt in my mind that his tricks are nothing more than tricks.

I was in London when he first started his endurance stunt - the 44 days in the box. He is very tall and he got a lot of female screams, he seems like a nice guy as well, waved at every member of the crowd. I'm a big fan.
