Competition football (non-EPL) 2011/2012

Real Madrid have been better than Barcelona this season. Barca have lacked someone like Villa this season and of course actual centre backs.

I hate mascherano.

To be fair though he has been their best defender.

I expect Barcelona to go out tonight. They seem done for the season. Tired, lethargic and lacking ideas, its basically, give the ball to Messi so he can run with it and that will open up space. Plus I believe Pep has finally made some huge tactical errors in the past week.

To be down 2-0 with ten men, and score two away goals at Camp Nou...that is legendary. Oh yeah, and Torres goal. That will go down as one of my favorite moments in the champions league. He's received his fair share of bashing but, you gotta love sports story-lines.

What Chelsea did is well beyond a brilliant result for them.

Mannnnnnnn. Real looked strong coming out then who knows. God fucking shit. This was their year, they're the bet team in the world. I think both penalties were pretty bogus. should've just been Ronaldos second goal that was the only one....I wish it was lol. Fuck

Bayern's penalty was legit. Look at the contact with Pepe. Real Madrid's first penalty was harsh - no way was that intentional. If you're going to count that as a handball, then Pepe's handball should have been called at well.

I'm happy RM went down the way they did. They can go back to the King of Spain and beg him for more money to buy another 80M player.

Over two legs Bayern were the much better side. Real Madrid looked shocked. After Robben's goal, only Benzema out of the attacking players looked like he wanted the ball. Everyone else hid away/

Unfortunately, I also don't want to Chelsea to win the final. Which is very non-English of me.

I never want an English side to win the Champions league outside of Manchester United of course. I don't think I could take a year of gloating from those fans. I'd rather it was a team not near me that won it :D

I kept thinking about this as Robben stepped up to take his penalty for the away goal.

I wasn't surprised to see Ronaldo miss his penalty, I don't think any United fans were anyway. Besides that, he's still had a great season.

Still would have preferred an El Clasico final by far.

Holy crap, Nike has signed so many footballers...I had no idea. Ad features next season's game ball and a cameo by a Liverpool F.C stakeholder.

Its an interactive ad as well. Just follow the white rabbit....eh...well...you'll figure it out.
