Cant understand this pac quote

This quote is from an interview he did in 96. Had it for years but never understood what pac was on about...maybe some of you could help me out on this one! The quote is just after he talks about mastering rakim and krs one's styles...

"They had the 5 deadly venoms right, and the teacher made one nigga who knew all their styles, all he could do was get next to a nigga like that and he could destroy! All I need is a nigga from New York and get on a track with them and they would have the dopest east coast shit in the fuckin world! "All I need to do is get deeper into the drugs and the 5 boroughs.......but thats so small and i dont think New York should let me go there, I'll give you a group and let them go there...."

First of all, Five Deadly Venoms was a kung-fu movie from 1978. The instructor taught each of five pupils a different style: Centipede, Snake, Scorpion, Lizard, and Toad. When he was dying, he had one last pupil who he taught a little bit of each style, so he was able to have a basic understanding of each opponent since he knew about all five styles.

Pac was using this as an analogy for rap. He was saying that he studied all sorts of rappers and understood the strengths and weaknesses of their rapping styles, and he was basically saying that if they dis him, he knows their style and will shit on them.

As for the whole New York thing, he's saying that he doesn't feel the need to have to go there and represent and fight for it since New York is just one state out of fifty, so he'd rather just stay here and represent the states that are already behind him.

Not 100% sure, but i think he's talkin bout Deathrow East, and sayin that as soon as he gets the chance he's gonna take over the eastcoast with ease. That's what i think neway

Edit:

He didn't say "drugs". He said deeper into the drums. He meant he needed to study deep into the music.

Thanks deeznuts83, one of the reasons why pac is different from the rest is coz of those types of anologies he uses, it makes you think damn this guy was deep!
