C. Delores Tucker Dead

Its almost funny that she took stands against rap with that Bill Bennett character. I wonder what she'd have to say now after his recent comments about black babies being aborted to reduce crime......roflmao.

i expected an ignorant comment like this... that was a fucking moronic thing to type.

whether or not you agree with her stance, tucker was trying to positively impact the same underrepresented and impoverished people who pac rode for. just because she held an opposing viewpoint doesn't mean that she was a bad person. jesse jackson, al sharpton, dionne warwick, and minister farrakhan have made similar criticisms of hip hop, so fuck them too right? while tucker argued that hip hop had a causal relationship to future misdeeds by the listeners, and i disagree with that, we all recognize that hip hop has the power to inspire and influence and therefore artists must be responsible for their words as spokespeople.

rest in piss? no. while i disagreed with your stance, what you were trying to do was right in your mind, miss tucker, and you were trying to make positive change. though we differ, you deserve the respect of everyone for not being an ambivilant, apathetic, bump on the log.

yea the rest in piss comment was out of line....gotta agree with Dante there.

I definatly thought she was a pyscho though, to label all hip hop as "pornographic filth" is just a blind and ignorant generalization. Plus, the fact she tried to sue Pac's estate after his death was very much in bad taste and probably not in her best interest, as she later found out when the judge basically laughed her case out of court.

Again, it would be interesting to see what she'd have to say about Bill Bennet now after he made his recent comments. Would she have brushed them off and defended them, or would she go against him?

I always thought it was funny she hated Pac's music so much, yet it was ironic that through his music that was wanting to accomplish the same things for the black community that she was....ignorant she was.

I always thought that footage of C. DeLores Tucker talking about Snoop's album where she explains how it is derogatory and what it means and then says "Doggystyle... 'do it from the back'!" was funny. But R.I.P. anyway.
