I found this interesting:

Kind of put the song in a whole different light to me. I found it interesting to see the different perspectives in this beef too.

I wouldnt believe much of what comes out of the Biggie camp tbh. they like to portray him as the victim in the whole thing.

i fuck with his music of course and he was one of the best rappers but as a man he was pretty spineless and not very bright imo. he was easily lead by Puffy and seemed like a very sneaky individual. he was the complete opposite to 2Pac in terms of personality. There is also the fact that he used to beat women including Charlie Baltimore.

lets be honest here, the release of who shot ya at that time and the shooting up of tha dogg pounds video set in NY were significant factors in the escalation of that beef. Maybe he had no knowledge of the quad shooting in advance but he could have handled the situation far better after and had a bit of backbone if he was being pressured into doing certain things by Puffy.

they also push the narrative alot that he was so upset after 2pacs death but yet he went on radio in LA not long before he was murdered himself freestyling a verse out of long kiss goodnight. There have been accounts of him hanging with the crips that murdered 2Pac also.
